  1. Have you read the Dark Tower books or IT? I really loved IT, and the DK books are one of my favorite series. I also loved 'Salems Lot, it discussed how religion is worthless without faith, and it really makes the Horror interesting.
  2. Anyone here like Stephen King...? Just wondering, I feel like discussing him..
  3. Tool ftw!

Dude, you guys aren't real Tool fans. Real Tool Fans hate all their albums and don't listen to any other Tool song that's been liked by more then 15 people.
  4. I have always loved this site so much, http://ytmnd.com/ This site is pretty much the best "funny" site on the internet, ten times better then that "Ebaumsworld" site...>.> Anyways, find your favorite ones, and just link them here. There are so many that people are bound to find new ones and ones that others haven't seen. http://cs911lol.ytmnd.com/ Pretty much my favorite so far.
  5. Don't post if you don't have anything to add please, it's considered spam and spamming is against the rules. Also, I agree with SOLANUM. If someone listens to a band in guitar hero, and they like the band now and want to get into them, isn't that a GOOD thing? I mean, they get to listen to new, better music, and they get to enjoy guitar Hero. It seems win-win to me.
  6. Arnie's Age of Conan>Any movie that has come out ever fact!
  7. Totally, thanks for pretty much getting rid of any credibility you have after that comment. Seriously, I haven't even played Guitar Hero II before(started my rhythm gaming career with Rock Band, then bought GHIII), and even if I did, it wouldn't matter, because I didn't even reference GH2 or Jordon at all. Please, give it up and just admit you haven't listened to Buckethead at all and can't base an opinion on him.
  8. Pearl Jam Smashing Pumpkins Rage Against the Machine N.W.A Primus Top 4. Also, RHCP was started in 1983... But I named Primus, so I can't say anything... also... U5tXCm2lNno Favorite Pearl Jam song/one of my favorite 90's songs.
  9. I don't know how to explain it. I guess it's just the meaning behind the songs that makes me see him playing with passion. Like for songs titled "For Mom" or "I love my Parents", it just seems those songs mean something to him, and he's playing for them. Also, even though I used emotion to describe him in the first post(I still stick by that), if you don't think he's emotional, he's still one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
  10. Sorry to not comment, but the guys making comments like "lolz buckethead" or "jimi hendrix is teh bestest evar" seriously have not listened to buckethead. Also, for the 40 album thing, yes I have listened to every song(not in a way I can name most of them, but in a way that I just put it on and let it go). I really think there isn't any "low quality" songs on his discography. Also, this happened over the course of months, not just "one day I decided to download his stuff, and the next hour I loved him...". Finally, David Gilmour is not even close to the best guitarist of all time, or Eric Clapton. Do you guys know who Steve Vai is if Buckethead is too abstract?
  11. Yeah....should of seen it coming. Ah well, please don't lock it yet...I think we stopped the argument for now... Edit- Yes I know it's both our faults...
  12. Ok, Rush is, has been, and always will be my favorite band. I grew up listening to Rush, I've been to 2 of their concerts(both were from Snakes and Arrows, just because I wasn't alive 34 years ago). I love Alex Lifeson. He is easily my second favorite guitarist(my favorite is Brian May actually...). But I'm just saying, Buckethead is a better "technically" at guitar. He can play things Alex can't(from what we've seen of Alex, he IS in a band, and he has to write and play to the songs, not like Buckethead who does everything alone). I like pretty much every Rush album more then I like any Buckethead album, but I still admit Buckethead is one of the best guitarists(better then Hendrix ever was, same with Jimmy Page, both of these guys were amazing at their time, but people expand and learn new ways of doing things) of all time. Also, 2112(album and song...)>any Buckethead song/album
  13. Well it seems really I'm not arguing against the white stripes, but more to showing how Buckethead is amazing even with just a guitar(he plays Bass too by the way...). Also, the drummer can't keep a beat to save her life(seriously, if you listen to this after listening to other bands that have good drummers like Rush or The Who, you will understand, she is terrible. I could keep a beat better then her). Jack White is a good guitarist, I admit, but he just isn't up to par with Buckethead, and if you actually watched my videos, you would understand. It's hard to explain, because I am no guitarist, but he can play fast or slow and still make it good. It's better explained through the music, I recommend you listen.
  14. Ok. I never said Jack white was a bad guitarist. It's just the way I've grown up, whenever I heard a White Stripes song, I burst out laughing uncontrollably. Also, it looks like you wanted to argue about Dragonforce for some reason, and decided to make it out that like them(I mean, Herman Ri is cool, but...) so you could spew out more worthless namecalling and arguments(I admit I did it too, but after you...which doesn't make it right of course but ah well). Also, you know nothing about music if you think there has to be vocals to show emotion, and how someone plays guitar can't show it. Also, I'm not some all musical genious either. I just know enough to understand why Vocals don't=feeling. Also, the names of some of his songs help show what it's about(for example, the song "For Mom" or, "I love my Parents")
  15. Hahahahahah hahahahahahaha Nice showing me you're a "tool"(hate the word but it fits here) and I shouldn't bother listening to your opinion. "LOLZ THES GUYZ R MOAR POPULAR DAN BUCKITHED SO DEY R BETAR ROLIN STONS LOL KIRT KOBAN IS AWSUM HES LIK IN DA TOP 20!?!" You are judging him by what he's freaking wearing. Your opinion regarding music deserves to be ignored. Boowy and Asian Paladin at least gave me real feedback and answers. I oversaid it with him being the best ever(heh), but you should really reread what you typed and think about it. Also, how the hell is he trying to be artistic....he's wearing a KFC bucket on his head.
  16. Sorry!? (I have no idea what you are talking about and I'm not going to pretend I do, though it may have worked...)
  17. I used to be one of the naysayers, I hated Buckethead just because of his name, and I thought he was overrated as hell. Then I was bored, so I decided to download his entire Discographie because I wanted to give him a chance(that's what I usually do with bands I start listening to, just download every song and go from there). Well I was blown away, he has over 40 albums, and every single one of them is quality(the amount of albums doesn't show quality, I know...). First off, it's almost all instrumental, though the album "Enter the Chicken" has guest vocals on most songs. He plays with more feeling then any other guitarist I've ever seen(I'll show this later), and is more skilled then Jimmy Page ever dreamed of being(he's amazing of course, but Buckethead is on another level). Gpr498vngFQ There is one of his best songs, quite long, but that just adds to the greatness. SkTXWWf2TJ8 This song is slow, very slow, but I like it because it makes me feel good, and bad, in some way that I can't explain. It's the only instrumental to ever make me feel something. 8akmP6Sjv2o Whitewash is another good one, the youtube description explains it fine. vYxrdrzmuUw Instrumental off Enter the Chicken, best song on the album too... I'll end the videos with this... eqrFesMGtvA The only other guitarist I think is close is Steve Vai, so it may be a tie, but I still think Buckethead is a little better(I like Vai more too...) Ahh one more... rJud5kqFEDU p.s. Yes he does look silly, but focus on the music!
  18. No, you can install whatever you want, they are both seperate. It's just it follows kind of a story, in the first one you are a private, and in the second you are higher in command. Play in any order. also to play the first one you have to read the readme to know where to put the files. The second one is a mod just like other mods, it installs itself.
  19. First, theres http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/HalfLife_2_Antlion_Troopers_Singleplayer_Map;34215 Then theres part 2; http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/;48094 These two mods are amazing, it pits you and your squad against hordes of antlions for as long as you can last, and it's great fun. I highly recommend these mods. If you have Gmod you can get this for multiplayer too. Also, you CAN win both maps, so don't think it's just you lasting as long as you can, both maps have pretty great endings.
  20. I straightened that out in the appeal section, but yes I was. edit- Also I'm not denying it, I did do it, but I thought it was kind of over with...
  21. I have it for the Xbox, but I want to use those mods so much, that I am willing to pay $20 just to get them, seeing as they extend the game to infinite play time. Anyone have any ideas on where to buy them in store? Also, it may seem random, but I need to find out, and need an answer, so don't yell at me.
