  1. I thought this thread was the final showdown for who gets to marry Bubbles. Disappoint.
  2. GTX 580

The 6870 and 470 results vary by 2-3 fps, how is this significant? Also, different CPU/RAM will result in different performance.
  3. I still believe there is a direct correlation between otakuness and radiation exposure.
  4. Best know your place, you know what's coming if you get #1 faggot.
  5. So

And nothing of value was lost.
  6. The vodka bottle I used to start it.
  7. Mmmmmm, crackers and gookp.
  8. Don't forget when Broncoty and I saved the day by writing like 10 pages of "you're doing it wrong" and he basically tl;dr ragequit.
  9. Whoever has the picture of Super Nublet with the automatic shotguns MUST post.
  10. Ahhh, Freshman year. So much yuengling.
  11. Caution

  12. Pretty much why I stopped posting, lol.
  13. Which is why I said she had the option of buying one card now, and updating at a later date with a second if she wished. I merely selected one of the best cards to do it with.
  14. That's nearly a 100% gain in performance, something SLI/Crossfire did far less efficiently in DX9/10 generation cards.
  15. In DX9 games, yes. In DX11 games, no. You DON'T build computers for the past, you build them for the future so that they can last 5 years.

  17. It shouldn't matter in the slightest when it comes to games, if the game doesn't recognize SLI then it will only use one core anyways. I would say if one is clocked higher than the other make it the primary.
  18. Sony Vegas is good for high quality post-processing, but you need to buy the full version or obviously investigate torrents.
  19. Is the guy with the white line pointing to him at the bottom Putin?
  20. I don't know why you insist the 6850 is a better deal, the 6870 has considerable gains over it for $60. It also Crossfires VERY well. Also @Kiwi, you don't build a computer for a monitor resolution, she supplied a budget, and she wanted to play BC2 (she said BF2 in the thread, not your fault guys).
  21. She's already got a HDD and peripherals, but good catch on the mobo, I linked the 1176 socket version. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131665&cm_re=sabertooth-_-13-131-665-_-Product Correct version.
  22. For the ~$1500 budget. Case: Antec DF-85 (take a look at it, I suggest it because of the easy to clean fan filters etc. $160 CPU i7 950: $295 CPU cooler $40 Motherboard: $150 RAM 2X2GB DDR3 1600: $80 PSU 850W: $130 $855 so far This means you have a lot of leg room for your videocard. Radeon 6870 $240 $1095 + another? $1335, I'd say that's tempting because this thing crossfired would tear up anything that comes at max for a few years. The ambient temp of the case would go up, but Antec cases can evacuate air very well, and if you ever plan on watercooling it has room for a 240x120mm radiator at the top.
