  1. I wouldn't fuck that PSU. Also, for that matter, I doubt I would fuck any power supply, no matter how high it's level of quality control and voltage regulation. What the fuck was I thinking?
  2. Rebates are a fucking joke these days, I don't even try getting them, and I sure as hell don't order products for the sake of cashing in on a rebate.
  3. Your CPU and GPU are completely unrelated in that one doesn't affect the other's performance (but having say a Radeon 5970 and an old single core CPU at 2.0ghz will bottleneck your system's potential). It'd be a good idea if you posted your budget so we had something to work around.
  4. Tom's hardware is all I really need, hardware canucks is good, as is overclock for a general forums.
  5. Honestly, I'd suggest a 750W+ but if you want to save $70 go with the active power supply, not modular, just means you have to stow the cables behind the motherboard panel.
  6. I'd honestly suggest one of these two (best heatsinks on newegg that come with them too) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-332-_-Product $230 GTX 465 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-316-_-Product $365 Radeon 4870
  7. If you're building an i7 rig there's absolutely no reason to settle for a low-tier card like a 5750. Higher levels if you're interested. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125332&cm_re=465-_-14-125-332-_-Product $230 good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125316&cm_re=5870-_-14-125-316-_-Product $365 better http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500166&cm_re=gtx_480-_-14-500-166-_-Product $520 best http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814103088&cm_re=5970-_-14-103-088-_-Product $700 Overkill As far as cases go, I'd suggest a midtower with good airflow, they're usually in the $75-125 range.
  8. Must really want that reg tag

  9. So long as you DON'T use the video ports on the motherboard you shouldn't have to, if you get a conflict or buttfucked by errors just go into BIOS and disable it, instruction manuals online will tell you (and I'd suggest consulting it before you install anyways) The case I suggested is out of stock, here's some alternatives: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119106 $55 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119077 $60 Top two are basically variants http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129066 $65, but has probably the best airflow out there for the price. Besides that, if you're interested: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127490&cm_re=5770-_-14-127-490-_-Product $180, same graphics card but with a far better heatsink, it'll keep the card a lot cooler.
  10. Talk to Wrathek, he can supply you with a legitimate OS key for $12 (or whatever he's charging now) As far as building you a PC goes: CPU $62 Motherboard $50 (comes with an integrated videocard that's utter shit, just don't plug into it and it should override automatically, otherwise use bios) RAM DDR2 800 2X2GB $75 Videocard $140 PSW $70 Case $55 HDD $60 DVD Burner $20 Brings you to $530, if you cut out the HDD/Burner by using the ones you already have that'll bring you down to $450, +$12 for the OS.
  11. Are you willing to build it yourself if we pick out your parts? You can save 200-300 easy that way.
  12. Everything if it's not a mini. Also, if you actually read OP you would know that he has an impossible budget for a store, online or retail.
  13. It's a goddamn airbrush and photoshop, what's new?
  14. MPQC, NO. Here's the minimum requirements for MW2, which is NOT a hard game to play on most low-tier PC builds. OS: Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 (Windows 95/98/ME/2000 are unsupported) Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor or better supported Memory: 1 GB RAM Graphics: 256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT or better or ATI Radeon 1600XT or better DirectX: Microsoft DirectX® 9.0c Hard Drive: 12GB of free hard drive space Sound: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card Internet: Broadband connection required for Multiplayer Connectivity. Internet Connection required for activation Basically, you'd have to upgrade that PCs RAM, it's CPU just is far too weak, and you'd need to buy a $100 videocard, minimum. The extra RAM and the GPU would probably put you at $450ish. I'm trying to tell you it's not a feasible option, you're better off manning up and building it for her.
  15. Your asking price (ESPECIALLY FOR IN STORE) is just too low man, we might be able to bargain bin you a cheap dual-core on newegg if you put it together for that price but what you're asking for is simply not feasible.
  16. my idea of bringing /b/ into the forums is a little worse than playing around with a shitty meme occasionally. I can't has fun anymore.
  17. CUTTING OUT THE CANCER BEFORE NEWFAG ASKS ABOUT WHAT IT IS. EDIT: NOOOOO TOO LATE
  18. No, sorry, but no.
  19. ADE3t7uB3AM The Heimlich maneuver one isn't as good :/
  20. because I obviously meant to break the ToS, and didn't change the image once I had realized they had a dummy link. It even said "DON'T LINK FROM THIS SITE" on it, did it not?

  21. so.... you brought up a defunct infraction from nearly two years ago because I hotlinked from a site that has an image blocker in the form of a gay guy, which I didn't know, then fixed?

I believe that you're holding a grudge kind sir.

  22. For 350, the only thing out there is netbooks and their CPUs and RAM are far less than this one's, so go for it.
  23. I think he joined Philly PD.

  24. If Super Nublet made a "I'm leaving thread" and people said "0 care" I'd murder them, with fire.
