  1. Hmmmm, coming from you this sounds like a move.
  2. Oh come on, poli sci ain't that bad.
  3. It's a mid-tower case, it has better airflow I think than an Antec 900 (I've built rigs using both), and it comes with LED dimmer and a fan controller, if you're not big into watercooling/custom cooling than it's sufficient.
  4. I'd strap them to a seat in the "It's a small world" ride and just leave them there.
  5. Storm sniper is an excellent case.
  6. I wish we were a clan that selected members on their SAT scores.
  7. I has a new handle of CM Silver, we game tonight.

  10. "Mother-fucking-pimp." Ronald Reagan at the unveiling ceremony for the B2-Spirit.
  11. I could call Red and have him call him lol.
  12. He's married, got a job, bought a house, and has a child on the way. RIP Legal.
  13. It simply means it has the ATX motherboard power cable, which works on miniATX or extended ATX.
  14. You're fine then, that's plenty of airflow. Also, for good measure buy some artic cooling thermal paste if you don't have any.
  15. Yeah, it's what I suggest to most people. What case do you have? Normally I'd just suggest this heatsink though, it's a classic: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134&cm_re=artic_cooling_freezer_pro-_-35-186-134-_-Product
  16. I swear to god, I'll be in TTT and I'll see someone trying to pick a door and then I try to arrest them with the magneto-stick. Then I shoot them in the back of the head when no one is looking.
  17. so you just need a mobo, CPU, and RAM? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727&cm_re=phenom_ii_x4_965-_-19-103-727-_-Product $165 CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-130-290&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=3#scrollFullInfo $70 Motherboard $90 RAM (DDR3 1600) Total = $325, spend the rest on booze. If you want to go a tier up though: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115225&cm_re=i7-_-19-115-225-_-Product CPU $285 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157163 Motherboard $165 Total $540, over your budget a bit but a massive difference in power.
  18. I only suggest the extra RAM because it's a cheap way of boosting performance, and when you're going budget everything counts.
  19. What case is that?
  20. When the hell did you become Harry?
  21. Ahem http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=38278 http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html Search newegg, cross-reference the videocards the notebooks have, and then you can see how well practically any game will play on it using this website. I can tell you right now though, for $650 it probably ain't going to happen, bottom line for a laptop with a mobile videocard that can play mainstream games is in the 900-1200 range.
  22. With DDR2, I'd suggest 6-8 GB, beyond that you're golden.
  23. Two prefabs from the "make a rig thread" I wish we'd use more often. http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showpost.php?p=327758&postcount=2 http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showpost.php?p=328198&postcount=4 If the parts are old/no longer for sale just find a comparable one.
