  1. Again, Y2K theory, the 06-06-06 theory, were all from the media, there was no real backing to it. The Mayans stopped their calendar on 2012, December 21st. People say, so what? They just stopped it, no big deal, well no better place to stop it then to stopped it on the exact predicted date of Winter Solstice. This gives one of the theories that the the 1 degree in change of the earth's axis might be more than just 1 degree and can actually be a lot more, causing tidal waves, earthquakes, and things like you saw in that trailer. There's also Planet X, its suppose to be a planet with a 3,800 year Orbit. And it's apparently going to collide into Earth. Theres another one called Timewave Zero, I dont' know too much about this one but suppose its some machine that predicts major events that happens on Earth and its predicting that 2012 is one of them. Look it up if you are interested. Theres also something else like, some type of bot that roams the internet, gathers tons of information from everybody and its user and predicts the future, it also predicts something at 2012, but then again you can look up stuff about 2012 anywhere, so I'm not to fond of this theory. Another theory, is that the gods of Mayans, which they supposely saw are actually Aliens, for all we know we can be some big experiment, dropped off here on Earth are going to get killed off because we are becoming too powerful and advance and now pose a threat to them. There have been games and movies that have been using this specific date for a while, just that not many figured it out until this got pretty well known around the internet. Examples, can be from the game Chrono Trigger, and the movie The Time Machine. In my opinion, I don't believe in all this, but its still interesting to read and still interesting to ponder, the world can end at any day and any time, there's no real date in my opinion and for the ones who completely disagrees with it, if you want to think that way to make yourself feel better, that's great and that's what you should do. And also the movie looks awesome. lol @ Slavic - Yea, but its a bit too amazing and unbelievable for them to predict all of this and had that much knowledge about the stars and this Solar System/galaxy.

  9. Your mom's a noob.

  10. lol, I thought you guys might mess it up, you are kind of suppose to comment the person above you. Some of you got it, but some of you are a bit on the slow side....lol Guess I'll restart it. Drunk, you're a good person to play reg CSS with, and is one of the active members of the community. Keep up the good work.
  11. It's always nice to see a new face around here in SG (literally), err semi-new. From what I've seen you're a good person to be around and its great that you keep us company on vent, we always need more people on there and your activity is greatly appreciated. Please continue to contribute and continue to avoid those zombies, at least try to. lol
  12. You stuck with us for half a year and active on the forums. I hope you stick around for longer.
  13. Well, its been more than 2 years since this community's been around, but was only started to be known as SteamGamers for a year. Some has even been around before it was known as ZM. It's a bit nostalgic to look back and then compare the past to the present. 150-180 AVG active players on our servers during the afternoons, 300-400 active forum browsers, 40-60 AVG members in vent at all times, and 790 members in our Steam Community Group. We've also been holding daily group events to keep our servers populated and I thank everyone for participating in them to help the community out. The community will grow only if the community decides to put in the effort, work, and valuable spent time into it. SG is shaped by its members after all. Every single one of you are an asset to this community; doesn't matter if you donate or not, just know that giving money to SG isn't just the only way to help the community out. SG has a long line of history of events and members, and a good example of this is Edo's old topic called, "Make a Movie". (check it out) There are some that come and go, and some that stays for a quite of bit of time to the point that they make a great impact to this community and will be remembered. Even though we might know everybody's motive to join or stick with us, the community of SG will not go unappreciated. And that's why I would like to make this topic dedicated to the many members, and former members of SG to show my appreciate and thanks. The way this will work is that after each post, the person below will comment the person above and list at least one thing this person has done for the community and compliment him/her. You can also list others who are no longer active that you may want to include in your post. You can't shout out to the same person. Lastly, I request that this be kept positive. Here's to another 2-3 years. Support the motherfuckin' community.

  17. Yea, I noticed how hard it was to hear the game on the recording and how mildly annoying my voice was so today I'll just be playing with the game audio only, I'll still be playing in window mode if anyone decides to chat in the chat box.
