Just an fyi there's already a stickied events thread specifically for ZE here As for your ideas, we've done something similar in the past (wouldn't mind doing them again though). Idk about the enable auto bhop one for Easter though, that just seems like its going to be a bit too chaotic and fucky. Maybe if it was for the more easier maps then maybe.

A while ago I put this plugin on the server and set the immunity so that subscribers, vips, and admins weren't muted during the map vote. Afterwards, AntiTeal edited that plugin so that people with a certain rank on skillbot weren't muted. I don't mind it making a come back, probably have it so admins, people who have the leader sign, and people of a certain rank and above (Godlike or Legendary) are immune. Maybe subscribers and vips are immune but not really a priority imo.

Bump!!!! So the judges and I decided to add in another optional theme to the contest that you guys can either write about on its own or together with the other existing theme for your story. The new theme is essentially @Greggy G's chinchillas (courtesy of this gunplanting chinchilla owner himself). Hope to see what interesting stories come out of that In addition, I also added in 5 more games to the prize pool, making it a total of 15 potential games for the winners to pick out. As for right now it's just me, however if people are interested in judging I usually accept two other people for up to a total of 3 judges. EDIT: So since his chinchilla ass won't stop asking, @Greggy G is helping me judge for the contest as well. Still one more spot left if anyone is interested. EDIT 2: @Montag is another judge now, so Montag, Greggy, and I will judge the stories.

Hello Steam-Gamers and welcome to the fifth story time contest! It's been almost a year since the last one we did, and since spring is around the corner why not go about and start another one. For those of you who don't know how this works, I give you all one or more theme(s) and based off of that theme each person writes a creative, well thought out story for the judge(s). The top 3 stories picked will receive some very nice prizes. Please read the rules and information below before submitting your story. THEME: Any of the S-G servers, @Greggy G's chinchillas RULES: 1. Your story must be centered on the pre-selected theme. If you go off topic your story will be disqualified. 2. If there is more than one theme, you may either pick one or incorporate all of them into your story. 3. You must create a title for your story. 4. Your story must be a minimum of 350 words. A story that contains less than 350 words will be automatically disqualified. 5.Make sure you follow the forum rules. 6. Be creative, use your imagination, and have lots of fun! For this particular event, I'm going to to just focus on hosting it on Teamspeak and Rabb.it since it's simple and free and anyone can watch the stream so long as they have decent Internet. Stuff like with gmod and VRChat we can consider for next time. As for the ratings, I'll let you people decide on what we're going to watch. The only genre I'll not watch is horror because I'm dead ass afraid of horror movies so fuck them.

So out of curiosity, how many people would be interested in getting together on Teamspeak and/or Rabb.it at night and watching a couple of movies together? If so, anyone have any particular genres or specific movies they would like to watch? I'll probably host it this weekend or if not on a weekday night at like 6-7 PM EST time depending on the responses.

I also made a thread recently here of websites to look up video game deals and trusted online retailers that have a lot of sales on a lot of different games and they give you Steam keys. Worth looking into if we're going to raffle games as well. With Steam, they made a trade policy a few months ago where you can't buy gift copies of games and hold them in your inventory any more and you can't gift games to other people in different countries due to region restrictions. However, we could also raffle digital Steam Wallet Gift Cards here too since that works worldwide and converts the currency to whoever is receiving it.

Since there's a fairly good amount of potential event ideas, I'm going to sticky this thread for anyone else that has any good ZE event ideas for the future. Keep posting them if you have any!
