  1. Even then not a lot of people would join because you know how boring it is to defend against 5 people that know what theyre doing and the other 30 getting lost.

  3. Reduce bullet knockback as well. Its still quite a lot as on starwars a competent team was able to completely restrain a zombie from moving forwards allowing 60% of the team to doorhug. ZE is emphasized as a team game not a let the pros carry. Should look into more kb changes if the regulars want a more competitive community.
  4. I dont know how much the zombie speed right now is but im feeling thats its around 275. Setting it to 260ish should be fine. If im mistaken, then we should lower it from the current value accordingly.
  5. Zombies run too fast which might explain why defenders get caught way too quickly on tight holds. Aka any of the biohazard maps on the box holds/hallways holds, if nobody throws a grenade before falling back then its rip most of the slow/lost humans. This may also explain why nazguls are sonic the hedgehog on minas tirith and mount doom

Instead of using stamm, we can just create groups within zriot like how we have subscriber and admin but add the ranks I proposed within this thread and manually input the Steam ID's if people request for certain ranks on a separate thread by posting their steam id and a screenshot of the time spent on the server. Last I checked, there were only 100 people that met the requirements on gameme (there could be more but inactive). For the chat tags, IDK how you guys do it but it could be solved also by manually inputting within a database with a different plugin or tying it to a model/command in case people want to switch it off or on to hide themselves.

  9. So the problem I faced today was on surf_lt_omnific (tier 6) where we had 6 people on the server trying to beat the map. I had to make a vote for extending twice so that a few of the people could finish the map because regular map vote kicked in but I was still stuck on stage 10 after 40 minutes :[. So is there any way to make vote extends possible for the higher tiered maps?
  10. 5 nominations should suffice. the point of this system is to get players introduced to the map. Theres nothing more frustrating as a leader when people dont know where to go.
  11. Rank Plugin: ZE needs a rank system back to be competitive but gameme lags too much because it calculates every damage you do. So the solution to this is incorporating a rank plugin based on the amount of time you've played on the server which should get our regulars to return to the servers. So the system would work very much like the Mapeadores system where we use stats recorded by gameme and have an AO manually distribute the ranks based on the time you played. Probably needs to have a separate thread where you have to post evidence of your time played and your steam ID Obviously, we make the baseline quite high so we don't need to add a thousand players once this system begins. So the perks of getting a time-played rank are a predetermined chat tag and a model that changes hue depending on what your rank is [I believe this is possible based on what I found 4 months ago on alliedmodders/punky told me/mapeadores and Asian servers have a model color changer. List of possible ranks and their requirements + model color. [beginner]: 3 days on the server / No model color [intermediate]: 10 days on the server / Blue model color [Professional]: 20 days on the server / Red model color [Legendary] : 30 days on the server / Black model color (pretty sure you can do RGB because thats what the korean server did with one of their models. Other Possible Rank: [Tryhard]: Completed 6 separate difficult maps on the server that will be determined later / Green model color Some maps to consider: -Predator Ultimate -TESV Skyrim -Gris -Fapescape -Fapescape Rote -Destruction of Exorath -Lila Panic (Maps we don't really play and take teamwork to beat) (Also must provide end round screenshot with our server IP) [Event Winner]: Won an official ZE event / Possible bonus model added to this that will get removed before another event is proposed with a model This was the model that we can implement: https://free3d.com/imgd/l87024-em-208-heavy-26302.jpg Either I solve the texture issue with the model or I'll probably ask another person to port it for us. (aka dakotec) Leader Plugin Riding off my old thread, could we get a new leader plugin where the leader gets a tracer/paint ball effect. Also, remove !frostcog since it doesnt really seem to do much except mislead the doorhuggers when they follow a guy triggering and get lost like when people follow the trigger person into the mufasa prayer and everyones a sitting duck in the tower. Also change sm_frostdefend to sm_leader since our dreams of beating frostdrake are finally over.
  12. Could implement a minimum amount of time before you can type rtv such as a minimum amount of time needed on the server such as 15-30 minutes before you can vote to change the map. I've been faced with this issue on surf where a new player would just join to type rtv causing a 50-50 chance to map change and the new player would leave after about 5 minutes. Also happens on ZE consistently where players would just join, probably play the map for 3 minutes and decide that the map is terrible as a result and everybody should rtv for a "better" map. The cycle then repeats when a hard map is voted and no one can progress past the first or second hold. Vice versa, easy map is voted and people yell rtv after joining the server for 5 minutes because they got knifed.
  13. I'll keep it simple, long maps require multiple extends to win and 10 minutes isnt quite a long enough extend to keep playing the map. We should change the extend time to 15 minutes imo. Oh ye this is for ZE btw. Also if we can get 3 extend votes would be great as well.
  14. The model is terrible. It reminds me of looking at a naked fat person and I wholeheartedly agree to remove it from the server. Please my eyes cannot take any longer just looking at it.

  16. You do know that zbuy is a private plugin. Go ask shufen for it since GFL wont fork it over without shufens permission. Also teals version is great but it doesnt tie to zombie reloaded and its just a seperate buy menu so more individual plugins will cause our nicely stacked lasagna to turn into tangled spaghetti. Pasta is the only thing i can reference with the amount of sleep i got this past month

  18. I'm open for suggestions on making models for servers if you can send me any file format that supports a 3D model (prefferably obj formats) and I'll port it in my free time. But thats entirely up to the AO's/mapmakers contacting me for a specific one.

  20. I wasn't saying that this should be strictly ZE qwq. But going onto whats on your to-do list. Rewarding regulars with the ability to use sounds would be a solution to this so we don't have a bunch of randoms joining in and spamming.
  21. I've done a bit of tinkering with "sound clips" don't ask why but I was a curious individual before I was an admin. Each sound should be roughly like 5-20 kb depending on how large/long they are and how well they're compressed. Im suggesting that these sounds are like 1-2 seconds long so maybe like 5kb per sound if compressed properly and depending on what quality we want it to be. So we can probably fit like a bunch of them but we don't need to overload on them.
  22. So, heres my suggestion to make the servers a somewhat funner place. We should have sounds that play from your player when you type certain commands in chat like say; typing "cheers" in all chat would have a mp3 of Tracer saying Cheers Love from your player. Obviously this system would work the same as the hide-and-seek pinging system where the farther you are from the person, you would hear it more quietly and it won't be a global sound just loud enough say like you're 1000 blocks from the player, that would be the limit of how far you can hear it. We can also have seasonal sounds such as "hohoho" which would play a generic santa hohoho or "boo" which would play the ghost sound from mario. Also, limit the time between each sound say like 15 seconds to prevent spamming and a limit on how many sounds you can use per round. Probably 5-7 for non-subs and maybe 10 for subscribers. All you ZE server hoppers may know that they have this system in mapeadores already.
