  1. TFW when you cant attend and korean ninja has to lead ALSO for anyone interested I will try to take some time off my school schedule to teach people around thursday 4:00 EST on how to beat maps. If i somehow manage to stay awake after finishing my paper today. Things I will cover during this session -how to lead and explain certain situations before they happen -Optimal locations to heal -Zombie TP's and how to avoid getting trapped -Where and when to fallback also distinguishing timings -Secret Level triggers -NOT GOING TO COVER ITEM USAGE because it is very situational and you should not be taking weapon items if you have not played level 1-5 at least 4 times.
  2. RIP I cant attend Forgot i had a company dinner that day. And it looks like most of the people that are able to lead the map might not attend so somebody has to step up and lead. Level 1 if we don't beat this then all hope is lost. Level 2 Win Level 3 Win Level 4 Win Truth Win Important things to note * Heals are very important in keeping people alive. If you are grabbing heal please listen to me when I tell you to use it. as wasted or selfish heals will end up killing the entire team and setting us back *If you are new you don't need to defend like all the people that know the map. Rather stay back a safe distance and shoot. *Only trust people that know what they're doing. This may seem biased but you have to listen to those within SG-TRYHARDS XOE TRLG GES or IES as these groups have people who have beaten truth at least once. *Each round is roughly 15-20 minutes and Level 4 is roughly 25 minutes long with the truth level so try not to die Also a note to the ZE Managers @Black Rain @Vick, Is it possible to disable to stamina plugin (just for this event or maybe even all event rotation maps) R3troattack made. Because having bhoppers in the front cuts down on vital seconds that we need to beat the map and It is nearly impossible to grief as a Bhopper because of the massive defend times+(no intentional troll will ever learn to abuse a map at this skill level and size) and the NPC's that are in the front.

  5. After Vick tested a rather lacking sm_shownames plugin, I decided to ask AntiTeal (Syndicate Gaming Server Manager) for their plugin which functions way better than the one that we tested.   6. I'll suggest that the ratio should be changed to around 14:1 so that theres minimum of 4-5 zombies spawning on a full server. Not very fun to have trolls spawn killing zombies. Maybe make Starting zombie have a lot more HP?
  7. This was a project I was working on where we can get permission to use private models from other servers. I've contacted the server owners but havent gotten a reply yet.
  8. Just a simple keep-track system on scoreboard where each winning Human each round will receive a single MVP and 100 score. Just allows good players to get noticed more without a mic and can be useful on maps like skyrim/(soon minas tirith in like a month) with available items. Might have to remove random MVP award at the end of each round to keep this consistent. Also adding to this, i dont know if its possible to reconfigure entwatch so that it doesnt change your score permanently throughout the map like how you would lose an item and your score is changed to 420
  9. One way around people copying this would be to display their radio commands or a seperate command to type in a similar notification to the map vote countdown. Something like !lead (message). Again cannot be really abused since admins can only set these and can be taken away if any trolls ever get it somehow. Im pretty sure theres a way to change fontsize and color
  10. After contemplating on how to make !frostdefend better on my 1 hour commute to school everyday. Cant do HW on a shaky ass bus or study Heres what I propose : -Giving the Leader a Bullet Tracer (preferably a visible color like green) PROS: Helps with newer people on what to shoot and where to shoot (Ex. Maps like Santa where Lv4 invisibility may confuse some people on where to shoot) CONS: May cause lag and/or additional download times but a visible color like green should be fine -Radio Commands made louder / (or change colors?) (Some people may be more experienced than others but don't have access to a mic or prefer not to speak like my bois luigi,vinz,and bukkake. Would give our silent leaders an easier time pressing 2 buttons than typing out command in chat that people won't see. -Additional Commands !shoot (time) Next bullet you shoot will leave a marker on the ground or wall that will indicate where to shoot (would be good for bosses like fapescape,predator,lilapanic where you have a split defend against zombies and the boss) (or good for breaking things like at sorrento, shroomforest bosses) (good backup if the leader is defending for something to break or there are unexpected AI's like in santa/aesthetic) !gohere (time) Next bullet you shoot will leave a marker on the ground that will indicate which direction to go (would be good for those with !frostcog since they're the ones at the front and can tell people to go a different direction if a person has to do a split in order to trigger a lever or such) (good on maps like skyrim, santa, fapescape, frost drake, exorath, or wanderers) Commands would be hard to troll with as admins can only place these. Might need to get source code from Paul to add these changes if this were accepted

I recommend changing the knockback down to 75%-80% of what it currently is now but add a bonus effect where the zombie cannot knife for roughly 2 seconds and cannot be knifed additionally for 5 seconds allowing players to react to the pushed zombie by either pinning it to a corner ot shooting it off the edge. Not sure if its feasible through coding since it sounds like a lot of work to remove knife knockback on zombie for a while and adding the anti-knife effect

  15. !zmarket is a familiar system in all popular zombie escape servers. I feel that people will adjust once they learn how to use the system because other regulars and me are happy to explain how the system works to newer players or other people that were not aware of the changes. Also, it allows room for correction whenever the occasional newbie decides autosniper and scout are a viable weapon. Since you can buy again in game. Infinite ammo with reload is a must on zombie escape as difficult maps are getting more and more popular.   16. changing guns doesnt really impact the game as youre still firing at the zombies. Also sometimes people need to buy kevlar while facing bosses to receive reduced damage.
  17. infinite ammo with reload should be fine. I mean there are maps where you wont use up 2k and there are maps that will require around 9k bullets to beat for ex. frostdrake , aesthetic , magmadrake , gris , santassination.
  18. I made a post about the limited amount of bullets before but I realized that we have a !Zmarket plugin currently disabled within our Zombie Escape server. What I assume it does like all the other servers is allow a on the side of the screen buymenu much like !guns but with all purchasable items. The reason that I'm asking to reenable it is because it allows humans to refresh their ammo whilst in game instead of sitting around using their pistol when they run out of bullets.
  19. You guys should've made an event on tryhards to get more people on xd. Could not have been there since im traveling once again but I'll make SG admins mods of the group so they can call more people on.
  20. There are a lot of non Overwatch models out there that could still be used in SG servers. Most of these models are around half a megabyte and closely resemble the outlines of CSGO models with the exception of the non humanoid models. I have all of these models downloaded and on my hard drive.   22. @Black Rain said it could be possible to switch it up using a command but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't break the map since it doesn't alter the map in any way or form.

After many attempts at Frostdrake and Santassination (and soon magma drake), I've noticed that the main cause of death were from newer players killing themselves because they do not know the terrain as well as the more experienced players. It is frustrating as a newer player to be unable to play as a human during these special events and especially frustrating for the more experienced players to put more weight on their back trying to defend against extra zombies with less humans. What I'm proposing is to completely remove fall damage from Event maps to make it more enjoyable as a newer player and easier for the more experienced ZE players. Im pretty sure that you can edit out fall damage using a cfg
  24. There are a bunch of models out there on game banana but I have an Alien skin thats just 600kb that includes hands as well which we could use as a subscriber only thing.
