1. So clock speed just means it's faster or gets better quality? And same here.
2. I WENT WITH THE 970 VS 950 AND WAS BLOWN AWAY AGAIN HAHA. I upgraded to 16GB ram and don't think it is bottlenecking at all I looked up other posts with my specs and no one said it was. I bought Witcher 3, and am playing it on ultra settings with perfect fps, it works so amazing! However it was $410 at best buy so I kind of want to return it and order one off of amazon for $70 less (love to save money ;)) but was curious what brand you thought was the best evga, gigabyte, msi etc, personally i've been using EVGA but I didn't know if one was better than the other as far as the ones on amazon. or specs. http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Cooling-Graphics-04G-P4-3975-KR/dp/B00R3NK2LE/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1452483344&sr=1-2&keywords=gtx+970 there is so many different "models" and I don't know what to choose or what the differences are like FTW, FTW+, SC, SSC, SSClk
3. I don't really care for anything over 1080p, so would 4gb be overkill? I was thinking I should just get the 970 and spend the extra and not have to upgrade it for a while instead of buying a 960 and then if I wanted to get a 970 later spending more money EDIT: how can I tell if it gets bottlenecked? I'm worried that if I get a great graphics like the 970, that my i5 2320 might not be able to handle it? Or would that be plenty of processing for it?
4. are those things very important? It looks like the r9 380 is a better one than the 960, and if I won't lose anything too crazy, I'd rather swap it for the amd instead. I figure since I'm not planning an upgrade in the next few years I might as well get something good while I have the money Is the 4gb graphics vs 2gb graphics really necessary?
5. Sorry for the double reply but I'm on my phone and can't double quote very easy lol. I am upgrading from my 6 year old laptop with an i3 Intel Integrated graphics and 4gb of ram that barely ran Cs:s in low graphics, so it is a huge jump I love it! Do you have a view on what the other guy said about the r9 380?
6. Hey man I still have a 30 day return policy so I could still go back and get a different one! I will definitely check out the R9 more..I checked out a video and it looked like on paper the numbers were better, so if that is the case I will probably order that one instead! is there going to be anything different quality wise on amd vs evga 950??
7. So I went and bought a 600W Power supply, and a GTX 950 and the results vs to what i've had my whole life, I AM BLOWN AWAY!!! For $30 more though I think I am going to order the 960 from amazon and return the 950, I can actually play games in HIGH I always have played in the lowest, I am so happy, totally worth the $180 Next is to upgrade to 8gb ram!
8. 15.9" x 14.2" x 6.7" 300W Full specs @ http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AZDG326?vs=1#productDescription_secondary_view_div_1451938430922 The guy I bought it from swapped the Intel video to an nvidia 610 and added another fan..I could afford the 960 it's not much more so I would probably go with that then, and I would assume I'd have to upgrade to like a 500W power supply? I'm also going to upgrade to 8gb ram
9. Hello, I am looking to upgrade my computer graphics so I can run games better. However I will need a new graphics card instead of the Nvidia 610 that I currently have. The graphics cards I am considering for the upgrade are these: GeForce GTX 960 GeForce GTX 950 GeForce GTX 750 Ti I am wanting the 950 or 960 most but I don't know if I would need to upgrade other items for them, or if I went with the 750 if I would have to upgrade anything else, or could just put it in and be done, thank you for the help!
