Congrats everyone

Hey everyone. I've been MIA from the whole community for a little over a month now due to school coming to an end. I switched my focus from my computer to my schoolwork, and now that my school year is coming to an end I hope to increase my activity to how it used to be. Anyways, this thread is sort of ironic because like I said, I've been focusing on schoolwork instead of video games. My high school just opened a competitive gaming eSports program for games such as Dota 2, League of Legends, Overwatch, CS:GO, and many more. Basically, I understood from the email that I received that the program offers a chance for students to create/join competitive teams and compete in local tournaments and statewide championships for popular cooperative games. I've never heard of anything like this before and I was wondering if your school has anything similar. I think it's a pretty neat idea and I would love to hear feedback.

I understand both sides of this argument but I can't help but side with the fact that our knowledge of humans and the body and how everything works would not have progressed to where it is today without testing on animals. Everything from disease, cosmetics, drugs, food additives, supplements, chemicals, household products, and pesticides have been tested on or by using an animal. I don't feel like writing a page on my opinion but I'd rather have testing on animals than releasing an antibiotic to the public that makes you spontaneously combust, shampoo that makes you go bald and melts away your skin, drugs that make your toes catch on fire, Big Macs that have substantial amounts of growth hormones that make your ears grow to the size of an elephant's, etc. Oh and imagine no insect repellent? I hate bugs.

Definitely Spotify. It's the improved version of Pandora - without premium you can listen to playlists just like listening to a radio in Pandora. You can customize your own playlist with songs from different genres unlike Pandora, and with premium it's fantastic especially for people who constantly listen to music. (I should be a Spotify salesperson... I sound just like their ads)

I was just listening to @Paradox complain about our comp match. Does this count?

I know that the surf server is not a surf deathmatch server, but I was wondering if for an event we could add strictly surf deathmatch maps in a map cycle. I think it would be fun to be able to show off our skill while surfing, and since the server is not a deathmatch one it would be a cool one-time change for an event. I'm not at all asking for the server to become a deathmatch server, but instead wondering what your thoughts are in having this become an event. I know we wouldn't want uninformed players to think that the SG surf server is a surf deathmatch server, so if this is considered maybe we could make the event private and have people sign up on the forums if they wanted to play.

I attached an image in case this sounded confusing.
