Couldn't agree with this more. Retakes servers are essentially homogeneous aside from their plugin so whoever has the best looking plugin / system on each server basically takes the cake. While retakes most likely won't bring regulars into the community as a whole, it is definitely a server with the potential to grow a player base within SG as we have seen in the past where there's been a small competitive group of people within the community. I think SG can still benefit from having the server given someone competent is given the opportunity to manage it, it's just a matter of figuring out how to retain players that join. I think that while it is niche, our server still has potential to do well given the resources it has. Competitive CS will be around for a lot longer and as long as people are still participating in competitive games, I think retakes / warmup servers will continue to be around and have the ability to succeed.

Just fix the map lol. The main purpose of the server is a warmup for competitive play, as long as ancient is in rotation it should be on retakes. I think the only map that doesn’t “actually” belong on the server is train but I just kept it cause I liked the map and no one pushed for it to be removed
