This is arguable, I've worked with a ton of tradesmen and nowadays people treat them like a piece of trash; where I work trades people have been replaced with people with zero skills/experience with the ideology of "Well, we can just re-train this person and engineer them to act as we want" The welders I've worked with were errand boys for the most part, bring this here, do this, do that, and were treated pretty badly with an equally bad pay, a dollar or two more than your generic straight out of highschool noobie If you absolutely can't go to post-secondary school (college, university) for something useful- something that'll actually get you a JOB in the field it's an okay alternative, but tradesmen have unfortunately degraded for the most part That being said college is shit if you have no idea what you want to do or any endgame, college certificates are almost all absolutely worthless, 2 year diplomas are almost equally useless but you'll have some job opportunities (extremely restricted and sparse, but I hear some exist) and 3 year diplomas are stupid as fuck because you'd be a million times better off going to university and getting a bachelors Bachelors are really useful unless you major in music, art, woman studies, or something similar that has no usefulness. A bachelors in business and marketing may sound like an extremely linear degree that'll lead you into only marketing or the like but I have friends who have gotten into banking, stock brokerage, and a ton of shit you wouldn't necessarily associate with business and marketing. Don't buy into the hype that university degrees are a pile of shit, the people spouting this nonsense are the piles of shit who bomb interviews that they would otherwise not be invited to without their degree. It also doesn't matter if a job isn't relevant to your major, apply. Your degree is just a piece of paper that tells the world you aren't fucking retarded and that you're capable of being trained in a job that requires you to use your brain. The second you get a degree or diploma shoot your resume to any and every job you think sounds cool on a job finding website. I know tons of people getting jobs they didn't necessarily major in, and others who were contacted for OTHER positions the companies needed filled.

You don't need a controller for smooths, I used HLAE, it's great. I have a pretty bad computer so it was annoying going back and forth between ticks to watch/edit the smooth, but it's MUCH quicker than the source smooth because you don't create a new demo to view, the path is created and viewed in the same demo and you set 2 binds to reset/add ticks. Had I done the smart thing and figured out what song I was going to use and planned out the cinematic for it I would have saved a ton of time, but it was still very easy and fun with HLAE. There's tons of tutorials on youtube for it. Some overly paranoid people are worried about VAC because they don't know how it works, but it launches CSGO in -insecure, so even if you (tried) to join an online game it wouldn't allow you because you launched the game with VAC disabled and it simply won't allow you. Despite it not being recorded in 1080p60 it still looked extremely good, good job. I'd recommend using HLAE or the built in smooth to create cinematics like you used though. I'd personally never do a cinematic by hand, it's nowhere near as smooth or professional looking as the real deal. I'm not worried about your editing on it either, almost the entire frag/cinematic community use WAAAAY more colors, effects, gradients, brightness, and color corrector effects on their videos to ever criticize you for effects. Hell, I've seen Machinima and big names absolutely SWAMP their videos in effects to the extent you can't even see the frags. I think it's because it's more of an artistic rendition of a video than worrying about siq frags, it's meant to look cool and exuberant.

Even with time_scale 0 and several other tweaks I had a bunch of problems with laggy player models, if you look at the background it's a solid 60fps throughout, the timescale lag is really awkward in some demos for me I was completely oblivious to the left/right weapon orientation too, that's one hell of a catch man Thanks fam, I was going to extend onto it but I just wanted to get back into making videos and got caught up playing around with this clip
