There’s an accessory u can get with it which is another cable that provides surround sound which makes directional hearing a lot better, I haven’t really testing it out without the surround sound tho tbh.

I got the hyperx cloud alphas for I think somewhere around $100 and the headset themselves are really good, and the mic is also somewhat of quality.

Like the situation drip originally gave about CT’s abusing chat to confuse, there is a reg (won’t say the name), who has a mic but has even said they choose to now give orders through chat because it’s ez kills. I feel like this is what drippy was referring to, which I don’t get how its punishable @delirium

I personally don’t see the need for this as admins already have the ability to switch the team a player is on. If a player were to switch from t to ct side and stack ratio, an admin could simply move them back over to t and warn them to not switch back for ratio.

I honestly agree with what Drip’s suggesting. (Going to tag @fantastic @Military_king @Manny @eXtr3m3 for their input.) But to add on, when time for lr comes around, many cts are normally screaming into their mic to lr, so when a t says his/her rules and sends the lr, the ct does not hear the rules, which leads to them cheating the lr. I personally feel that having it where rules have to be given before lr leads to a lot of unneeded confusion. Giving rules after might make it a bit simpler and cleaner.

Normally when playing you don’t want to mute a ct so that there is no chance of missing an order, but if they are conflicting and mic spamming they probably aren’t going to be giving orders u need to follow or orders at all for that fact. I would say mute them, but that is really only a short term solution, to fix it for the long run, Is say just get an admin or make a player complaint.

I’d say it is more likely but at the same time, I don’t think it would make an immense impact. I could see a couple regs watching or skimming through the video, but then u also have the regs who don’t want to, and the ones without a forums account (assuming the videos were to be advertised through the forums).

I want to say yes, but I just can't. I honestly could not see like any of the regs or members taking time to actually watch the video. If they can't take the time to play a new map and try to enjoy it, I just don't see them taking time in this.

I believe its a bit of both. During previous playtime on the map, I have seen multiple cases where ts will go "what is this map, I have no clue where anyting is, so rtv" or other sayings related to this. But also, it seems common that cts normally give the same orders each round, such as climb, bottom cell stairs, they don't seem to use a variety of what's on the map, which imo somewhat ruins the experience if you are a t.

I agree with what light said, there’s so much to the map which makes it a great map. It’s potential just isn’t shown because people on the server don’t give it too much of a chance. And while it is not voted very often, I still see it being played, which is a good thing. I don’t believe it should be removed simply because the players don’t vote it as much as the big maps such as electric, vip, and spy vs spy. Another nice thing about the map is that it gives the server a break from all the maps that are voted incredibly often, providing a bit of variety.
