Yeah forcing players to all leave one server is bad, I don't know where the conversation turned into an analytic lense on the SG servers. I proposed an idea to the EMs that Prez proposed to me a while back. Its basis was to do MGTs on a macro level and for specific servers. He called it something specific I don't remember, but I proposed we do a "Bi-Weekly Get Together" where people on the forums get back on a server that not too many people play on, have some fun, nostalgia, and basically seed the server for a bit. It would be like an event, but we wouldn't be following a theme or playing the gamemode modified. It should be noted we have a decent presence on the Forums of those who don't play SG/CS:GO anymore, but would and do in certain instances for some fun here and there. I think it's a strong idea, and as long as we don't do so often it'll be interesting and fun for people to get back on our servers. I'm not sure why the thread got closed and rejected so quickly but there's nothing wrong with making an idea like this, or an edited version of what Roddy suggested an official thing. I know this was discussed at the EC/EM level and rejected, but please reconsider it, I think it has potential to be very or at least somewhat successful.

A change has been applied, that you can read here that should fix the bind issue. We thought we had gotten rid of the bind, but Gentoo's post included a way to continue to have a bind even though we removed it from the plugin; There was nothing we could do, that's hard coded into CS:GO. Please leave feedback on the change that was made below, or bring it up at the upcoming Community Meeting.

The current version of this map has a warday feature that randomly happens on rounds, so this will be tabled for now unless you can give us a version of that map that doesn't have it @Gumline. I'm not 100% sure if it gives Ts guns or TPs them somewhere KOS, let me know if you know.

I can see how it's a difficult situation, so I'd advise everyone to take situations like these with caution. If you're a Prisoner, to save your ass, try to figure out what the Guard means, and move on. Guards, try to understand that it's better to give the Prisoners a straightforward order to avoid any confusion. If it's open to ambiguity, Prisoners will abuse it, and that's good sometimes, but if you want to limit the chaos just say exactly what you mean. Oh and also chat binds for orders suck dick

This is incorrect. The order, "Take a step out of your cell, freeze, blah blah blah" implies the Prisoners are already inside of their cells, if this is given after the prisoners are outside their cells it is unreasonable as it is confusing because it does not make sense. The Guard would have to either clarify their intentions, or rephrase what they're saying. The two orders "Take a step out of your cell, unstack, freeze, actively knife the ground, do my nazi order" and "All Ts unstack, freeze, actively knife the ground, and do this nazi order" are different, as one is general and can be used mostly anywhere, and the other one only works if the prisoners are already in their cells. If you were to give the "Step out of your cell" order anywhere else on the map other than cells, it would be a confusing order, and thus not be a valid one. Orders should be Reasonable which means it's straightforward, clear, to the point, easy to understand, not meant to confuse or trick, and gives the Prisoners enough time to follow. So, all in all, that guard was not justified in killing the people moving on first island, but the people on second island were nowhere near the metal detector (Which is what you said the last order was) so they could've been killed. @Jackson I think again I need to clarify how the 45 second freeze rule works. It does not mean after the 45 seconds you can unfreeze and run around, you will likely die. It means Guards are not permitted to keep you frozen longer than 45 seconds, and they must give a new order. It might not hurt to make that a part of the rule though, but we can leave that discussion for another topic. ^ This is actually just like how using !repeat does not make you exempt from the last order.

Admins should be slaying the player who freekilled instead of asking them to slay themselves. If both the freekilled and freekiller are okay with giving a freeday it's between them two, but if the admin feels a slay is warranted they are allowed to slay.

There is no rule stating you must slay after freekiling, furthermore there is no "Freeday in place of slaying rule". It is a cultural thing people tend to do on the server, where they might feel bad for freekilling and slay or give a freeday to the person the next round, but they are not required to nor is it listed anywhere in the rules that they have to. Admins punish rulebreakers with a slay, but you slaying does not make you exempt from a slay or ban by admins. If someone breaks rule be sure to report them with !calladmin , or for the best possibly chance of them getting banned, a Player Complaint. In the future, please thoroughly read the Rules & FAQ as they likely answer most of your questions.

I think the issue is you started playing after we disabled it, so when we just enabled it it doesn’t have any of your time logged. The only solution would be to tough it out and get your registered in its database (So playing the 45 minutes). Sorry
