Cool picks guys, The Sword, Mastodon, QotSA, EoDM etc
Concerts I can remember I've been to..
Supagroup/Alice Cooper - Eh it was laid back just sitting there and enjoying the music, the show was great though. So I can't say it was the best. I mean the music was awesome, just nothing happened it was like watching a youtube video of a past AC concert.
Megadeth/Heaven & Hell - Megadeth blew new Black Sabbath out of the water, Mustaine ripped up Dio's face with extreme guitar riffs! But again it was pretty laid back and I was damn far and didn't have my contacts in haha.
David Usher/Treble Charger/Bif Naked - David Usher was the only one I went for and I don't remember a single song he played lol.
Death From Above 1979/Queens of the Stone Age/Nine Inch Nails - There we go. Lots of fun at this one!! But alas I think the one I'm gonna write about had more energy
Econoline Crush/Alice Cooper - Opener was cheesy as hell and sucked ass. Alice Cooper's show was yet again good. Funny story after the concert I took my guitar to get signed and it was only me and 2 other people outside and he got his security guards to push us away while he ran to his minivan. So I ended up driving to his hotel and leaving him a nasty note.
Mugison/Queens of the Stone Age - YES. Mugison was amazing, QotSA were amazing. Best sound I've experienced. I also ended up hanging out with the Mugison band and meeting QotSA after waiting two hours with my brother in the freezing cold.
The Bug/Nine Inch Nails - Here we go, this concert was probably my most energetic. The Bug was massively cool! That is.. until Warrior Queen showed up ugh. But NIN was real energetic and I was bouncing around everywhere finding random cups of the beer on the floor and smoking some ganj.
Isis/Tool - Hmm I really can't remember much of this concert. Also a funny story. My family won 135,000$ in the lottery so my moms all like "LETS GO TO MEXICO!" and I just said "..tools playing in edmonton.." haha so we went on an 8 hour drive my mom probably hated. But from what I can remember it was FUCKING SICK especially when MJK pulled us into his time machine and played Opiate.
I'm having a hard time remembering most concerts right now so I'll come back later and annoy you with my experiences and my opinions!
