Garfield I like what you do for the community, but this new way is stupid
People who we don't even know are getting these tags
There need to be some requirements not just no bans
Most of them have ZERO posts and never come back...
Setting something for them to reach before they get a tag would be a much better idea.
Here is how I see the process
> They make an application not counting to their post total
> They get their steam ID checked
> If they have no bans they get a tag
I mean dwheat didn't get his and he is a player who is ALWAYS on the servers
Yes he incurred a ban, but this guy is more active than ANY of them applicants... well maybe not Tyrant, but you get the idea.
And some random people are just getting it, Huwajux even removed his tag because of the way you are now giving them out, that kinda says it all really.
Anyway I'm not saying scrap this completely, just make some sort of requirement which means they need to do something here and not just pop by for 1 post.
We think it is TOO easy
This has nothing to do with it, being respected is something that people will do anyway regardless of who it is... I said myself I like his idea, just it was too easy.
I know it all but too well, people don't realise what I do. It is stupid, you checked through those 7 pages and how many have more than 5 posts to their name? Let me give a hint, not many...
We are not moaning we are advising. I think most people here would agree that it is far too easy for people to become a regular. You have your opinion and we have ours. Disagreements will happen
But maybe people are disagreeing for a good reason...
