Or we could have a BWGT on the regular server and have someone that can give weapons give different weapons to everyone each round. And somehow disable buying so you could only use the guns you're given.
I wouldn't mind the rank system if it only worked for T's though. Perhaps it will help people rebel and wouldn't start people free killing and not using warning shots as a CT.
