If a T tries to knife a CT they can be killed for it. Same exact principle as a T trying to shoot you and missing. You're trying to inflict damage on a CT and fail. Completely up to the CT to kill you or not for it.

Not a bad rule tbh, would probably cut down on T's bitching for the cells to open. Only reason I'd say no to it is because I'd like the PB motd to be as short-listed as it can be.

Yo as of right now this is just for the layout. The actual rules still need to looked at / edited / grammatically fixed, cause there's still stuff on there that doesn't need to be on there. Also, putting up 1-2 rule lists saying "vote on one of these" isn't a very good idea...each rule that people seem to throw up for question needs to be voted on.

Nah, found out I'd report it as "flight of two F18's downwind". You're right though, a formation flight does get treated as one airplane for just about everything.

Honestly, I find the whole "No detours no delays" thing fucking retarded. Obviously I'm going to want you to go there right away, otherwise I'd tell you "You have 45 seconds to get to...". I just think it's incredibly unneeded. Thoughts?

If I have a formation flight consisting of two F18's in my downwind for a touch and go, as a local controller do I need to give traffic to a precision / tacan approach via GCA for both A/C in the formation, or just one?

^^^^^ I like that one a lot. Needs a couple grammatical fixes / minor adjustments IMO, but overall it's pretty cut and dry with the rules. Other feedback on this?

I like the layout of it a lot, but I don't like a lot of the rules there (and the grammar is incredibly, incredibly bad). We don't need rules that say "don't kill T's for not doing anything". That's, for the most part, common sense (and trust me, with PB I don't say too many things are common sense. As far as the baiting section goes, I disagree that running into a group of T's is considered baiting, because I do it quite often if it's needed. We've NEVER had that rule that most servers have (CT's in a T area can be killed without consequence to the T's), and I really don't want to see it added. The T "rules" just seem incredibly long and unneeded. The rule "Ratio should be 1:2" should be taken out, because, just like it says, it SHOULD be 1:2. I would only want concrete rules to be on the motd. "Cells have to stay opened once they are opened." This is another fake 'rule' I hear going around a lot. Unless somebody can show me a link of it being added by a higherup? "Mic rules overrule text rules." I don't really like this rule either. IMO it should be first come first serve as far as commands go. Also, a lot of the rules are redundant. There's "don't camp" like twice and "Warning shots are needed" several times as well. I'd like it as cleaned up as I can. Don't worry about making another one right now though until we get a clear, grasp on what the new (if any) rules will be.

Anyways, idgaf what rules you guys suggest, throw them out there. Not saying they'll get approved, but I'll make a thread with some of the rules that seemed popular and make a poll to see how others feel. High enough votes will go to an AO section or something for further approval / discussion / rejection.

Been noticing a LOT lately that a lot of the mems / supporters are beginning to spread around false rules. Now I'm not saying that there is no potential for these rules to exist, but as of right now, they do not. 1. Ratio free day - Does not exist. Get some CT's to switch over and stop bitching about it. 2. Zombie free day - CT's can give a zombie free day all they want, and it's fine if everyone wants to play, but if you knife a CT for ANY reason (other than him walking into your knife), you can be killed. 3. If cells aren't open by 4, it's a free day - Doesn't exist. At this point an admin on T will usually noclip to open them. Shit happens sometimes where the cells can't be opened early, especially when there aren't a lot of CT's. 4. Warday - Very similar to the zombie free day scenario. If everyone wants to play, great. If not, a CT still has 100% authority to shoot and kill you if you enter the armory for any reason. CT's should not be issuing an order along the lines of "Go into the armory", because that's an autokill zone. 5. If no orders are given before cells are open, it's a free day - Once again, does not exist. Listen to the orders given whenever they are given. 6. Panda free day - I don't even know what the fuck this is. 7. Camping armory - Probably the biggest one. CAMPING ITSELF IS NOT AGAINST THE RULES, AS LONG AS YOU ARE IN SOME WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM, HELPING YOUR TEAM. If somebody kills a terrorist because they are entering the armory...that would be considered HELPING your team. derp. So spread the word if you hear any of this shit, because I get tired of saying it every game I play. If you want a rule changed / added / removed / whatever, reply on this thread and I'll see how many people agree / disagree and then bring it to the AO section for a vote (if it gets enough approval). Not saying it will get approved, but I'll bring it up for discussion. Any questions on rules can be asked here.

Look at the date of the threads you post in... Also, file a complaint in the complaints section, not in the PB section.
