hey tweezy, I was wondering about Radeon HD 6870 you suggested. Do you know alot about the "Eyefinity" thing. I hear you can set up 3 monitors with one GPU? Do you know if all 3 of those monitors have to be the same resolution or do I need a special adapter?

I got it working, i installed video drivers from September of last year and that seems to fix it. I do still seem to have stability problems during game play but for now I can live with it.

I have been having problems installing Fallout 3 from Steam for the past two days. I am unable to get past the initial FalloutLauncher because whenever I click 'Play' my entire computer freezes and I have to do a hard boot. It is a bad freeze, the computer collects no inputs. I have tried all the usual fixes, driver update, reinstall the game, change settings (make windowed, lower resolution), run as admin, run in compatibility mode. I am only coming to the community because I am truly stumped and I need some help! Here is my PC stats: AMD phenom ii x4 965 black edition 3.4ghz ATI Radeon HD 4870 6 gigs RAM Windows 7 X64 bit

all it does is delete old registry files and windows temporary files... its not a cure all, but it is useful.

i installed it too. i was using AVG free(which i loved) but im hooked on avast now!

we all know this thread was created about 3 or 4 times over. ive given up telling on people about repeat threads.... its an impossible battle to win!

ha lol, who would even use Mac or Linux in this survey. It is almost certain that nobody that visits this website is going to use either because windows is the only decent OS for gaming.

be specific? fans for your case? cpu? gpu? memory? hard drive? if you want a good answer ask specific questions. the difference between air cooling and water cooling is that water cooling is much more effective but a bitch to set up and is ultra quiet but really pricey.
