While I gave a thought-out critique of your entry, the reasons that I mentioned are why people didn't vote for yours even though they may not have thought it out.

I'm not sure how to make the contest more serious without it causing people to get annoyed. Two ideas that I have are A) You judging what are serious entries and not involving silly ones or B) telling people to provide a reason why they voted.
