Have fun in Germany... again!
I'm REALLY jealous you're going to Garmisch. In my three years of living in the country, I never made it out there You need to go back in late September and attend Oktoberfest. THAT was a great experience ;)

Simple vocabulary game where every correct answer donates 10 grains of rice to the UN World Food Program... good way to kill time, increase your vocabulary, and feed kids in third world countries all at the same time.
I like this. I've seen a few randoms with the Reg tag on a few SG servers, but have never read a word from them on the forums.
...this may need to be bulleted in the 'Memberships Request' forum, in case some players wonder why they weren't granted Membership status.
Ramstein IS "little America". They have everything American you want there... including a mall. I don't think I'd be able to last in Ramstein, though... Heidelberg was the perfect place for a teenager... the bars and clubs were right down the street from our high school ;) haha.
My family was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany... one of the larger military cities (there isn't just one base, but 3-4 scattered throughout the city). Our rival is Ramstein Air Force Base.
That's unfortunate I've been to two Eiffel Tower twice... once with my family, and another time with my friends while we were on a EuroTrip.
I went in late December with my parents and it was a walk-on. We didn't wait in any line at all.
I went in early June with my friends, and our wait for tickets was about 10-15 mins, and the lines onto the elevators took about 30.
I guess it just depends on what time of year you go.
Did you see Pont du Hoc at all? It's crazy seeing all those mortar craters in the ground and destroyed bunkers. I wish the doors weren't cemented off so people could walk farther into the bunkers... that'd be neat.
Are you going anywhere else?
Start a thread that will ask for people's opinions.
For example, how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
...actually, don't start a thread about that...
Nice! My friends and I went to that one restaurant, Fernmeldeturm, before heading to our high school Prom in the Heidelberg castle :] I also go clubbing down there... a lot. Heidelberg barely has anything...
Oh yeah? Where, exactly? And what for? I lived in Patrick Henry Village... one of the military bases close to Heidelberg. I had a handful of American friends that lived in the German economy - St. Leon-Rot, Schwetzingen, Kirchheim, Neuenheim, etc.
