This is just a list of things I have noticed, about Guards (CT's) over the past few months.
Keep in mind, I love playing both Prison Guards and Prisoner sides.. but most BS happens on the Guard's end of things.
The objective of a prison guard in SG is to maintain control of a prison in coordinance with fellow guards. As a guard, you have to take control, enforce the rounds' rules, and at the same time, HAVE FUN, IT'S A FUCKING VIDEO GAME!!!
Try and keep the prisoners occupied at all times to lower the chance of a full scale mutiny!! Rules must be clearly stated and are able to be performed by the most inexperienced of players.
Good prisoner activities:
-Going for a swim, diving boards are fun and DO NOT HURT THE CT'S.
-A rousing game of soccer or football. Make teams, be creative, you have 5 minutes.
-A short period of time in several places..ie. Sauna, Kitchen, Solitary, Big Cage
Bad Prisoner Activities:
-Big Cage, 3 box rule on both sides. This rule fucking blows and YOU KNOW IT. Simply have a CT guarding vents and it will not be a problem.
-Pool, shallow end only.
Mutiny is NOT a place to play "war", if you want to do so, go to another server.
For the time being, deathgames are allowed only by consent of the prisoners. Simon says is a great deathgame to play, as are races.... If you are absolutely set on playing last reaction, please type it out.. the lag issues of different players is already bad enough without some idiot with a bad mic spouting out words that only a few can understand.
A general rule of thumb, give the prisoners time to react to an order, or if a prisoner beside them drops a gun onto them, give them time to drop it..Warning shots are required and are extremely effective! (If the prisoner is aiming at you, it's fair game.) Headshots are not warning shots, neither are AWP shots.
On other thing, If a guard gets to the point where he is cornered and forced to say "stay back, don't come any closer", your best chance is to accept that you are about to die. Once 1 prisoner knifes you, it's unacceptable to open fire on full auto into the group around you..
Prisoners, as always, if you don't want to get shot, stay away from the action.
