What is considered Mic Spamming? As a Reg now I was kicked without warning by an Admin for Mic Spamming. I was told by said Admin, who will remain nameless or I'd lodge a complaint, that any use of HLSS or other wise is Mic Spamming... that any sound clip played is Mic Spamming. I was under the impression that Mic Spamming meant you were either using the Microphone in excess with your own voice OR playing long sound clips (over 5 seconds or repeatedly). Could someone please tell me what SG considers spamming? I imagine this has been covered or there is a rulebook somewhere, but I wanted to have a discussion about it. :confused1:

Yes, I am on a CRT, better for color. Also, don't like how small everything is at 1600x1200, and aside from that I can get more FPS at my lower res. Anyway, I have the latest drivers and I think that is the problem. I will check connections and maybe wipe all of my drivers away and do a fresh install.

Every time my computer starts the desktop resolution is at the maximum 1600 x 1200 when I normally keep it at 1280 x 960. This sends my icons all over the place when I set it back, very annoying. I used to set it back using Windows' Display Settings, but then I realized if I just open the NVIDIA Control Panel it automatically switches the resolution back without me messing with any settings. What is going on here? Also, when I open the NVIDIA Control Panel I hear the Windows Vista beep noise that a device was just connected... Here is my idea: Windows isn't seeing both graphics cards, thus SLI isn't working. Hence, when I open the NVIDIA Control Panel it automatically pushes SLI through, changing my resolution back to what I want instead of the default. What do you think I should do? It is the ONLY problem I am having with my rig nowadays, slight, but annoying. Most mobos come with all teh cords you will need. Make sure you have good cords, cheap stuff will be crap down the line.

I had the exact same problem.... yet, I didn't want to buy a head set. I just had a dinky desktop mic. So, I just started wearing headphones while I play, problem solved.

Let's all use internet explorer! FAIL I hate when Windows alerts me to new updates just to secretly install the newest version or update of internet explorer... then goes out of its way to make it my primary browser. PRIMARY BOWSER.

I am FINE with Vista x64 with SP2. Runs fine now. Well, not as good as my 2003 Server Edition.. but, DX10 is worth it.

Yea, tell us if that works. Also, Comcast is beat sometimes too. I have had four drop outs in the last month and it was always on their side. I hate calling them, they always make me feel like I am idiot. I didn't build my own PC and get my CCNA for nothing. Bastards.

Geez... just don't call Microsoft. Could be a virus, bug, or kernel issue... geez. I would just life boat what you have onto external drives and give yourself a clean install. Maybe Zero out that drive a bunch of times too. I have never had any corrupt vista files myself... and Service Pack 2 has fixed my only concerns with Vista. Good luck.
