No thanks, we tried this and what happens is the servers stay empty and when SG players wanna play (ie about 4 peeps) they don't go running to the empty servers. Sad but true, it still wouldn't survive, maybe in today when we had about 20 people on the go it would've been awesome to have the server running but this was an isolated event, and we never amount to that many people on a nightly basis. But that's for Rush/Conquest. I think if we had a SQ DM server that'd be awesome but it still wouldn't have many players for a part of the day without us intervening to populate it.

I did the same thing for a short period: Ran my own website that pretty much just hosted those dumb flash games so I could play during school, later on i put up adsense ads in that shit and got about $50 in like a week but google quit counting my clicks (they came from the same IP addresses because the only people who used the site were my classmates, etc). Unluckily adsense only pays up once you break $100 so I never got my $48. Oh well.
