the thing with dods is more of a fast pace arcade game. in RO1 how ever they focus on realsim, and what i like to say is "if the game is balanced then it cannot contain realism" or the other way around. now read this, there were acounts that a tiger tank was hit over 200 times in battle, but only had a damage engine, and could still drive miles back for repair, in this game however they say its real, a tiger can get hit 2 times and die, blown up. ( also take note that only about 1500 tiger and 500 king tigers in ww2, they were hard tanks to make ) you get my point? when they say its realism, but yet they keep the game so balanced. the ppsh smg does alot of recoil, even at its fast ate of fire while standing up. watch some videos on youtube of that gun. its totally controlable. even kids could fire it. yet it the game the ppsh got so much recoil while standing up and firing. the tank speeds are also not accurate. they made the russian t 34 tanks go at 40 mph, but it can only got 37 mph. tigers can take out t34s with one hit, yet it takes many hits. 88mm guns could take out almost any tank during ww2

maybe i want a little too far with the evidence.... but i will still play it, its fun to play RO1, its just the realism is just a excuse for bad design and gameplay. in ro 1 the close combat fighting is completely fucked, most the time 2 enemys run in cricle, and randomly bayonet each other. you clip off the stairs too easily when fighting close combat, and theres aways a faggot troll that destorys half tracks if they cant get on.

omg the game is so fail. look at the german unifrom, i have never seen anything that looks like that, it looks like shit just like the one is RO 1, the tripwire staff banned me from thier forums, and steam forums because i made them look stupid with my the evidence i provided that germans didnt wear that type on unifrom. the game is good, but the unifroms look like shit.
