  1. I love the irony in that post.
  2. "Liberal Arts degrees: Take one" is written above the toilet paper in the men's room of the engineering building. Just sayin'...
  3. It seems to be broken a lot of the time.
  4. Windows 7 somehow automatically found all of my HP device drivers and installed them. Much easier than software. It is possible to scan through ethernet, my roommate just did it to test.
  5. SG'ers IRL

My friends will play GG or PB sometimes. When my roommate plays I always lock him in solitary.
  6. Post your desktops!

  7. Milk in a bag??

They used to serve this in school. Really sucked when you went to stick a straw in it and it popped.
  8. I was going to say the same thing
  9. S&S 5H V2

I would stay away from Logitech. I think I'm on my fifth headset.
  10. Did you leave it on while you were gone?
  11. Actually the 4870 has the best price to performance ratio. There is a pretty big difference in performance between a 4870 and a 4850. The cost of an XFX 4870 is only $15 more.
  12. NFL- Week 3

The Indy game was pretty sweet. The Manning + Wayne combo is pretty fantastic.
  13. Actually I stole your joke, check the first page. I play Guitar Hero.
  14. I know Alexandra plays the skin flute.
  15. Having two internal hdds is pointless unless they are set up in some form of raid. If you have an external you can easily back up all of your music/games/movies etc. Also, good luck finding an 8 GB hdd.
  16. Building it really is the way to go. I went with AMD and managed to turn a dual core into a quad core . Don't bother with an X3, they're just quad cores with a disabled core. Get 64 bit Vista or 7 if you want to utilize all 4 gigs of ram. G-Skill or OCZ for ram and try for DDR3. Do not get XP, finding XP drivers would suck with newer shit. Unless you plan on storing massive amounts of data, a 500 GB hard drive should be good. Xigmatek makes excellent CPU coolers. The Nvidia 200 series is better than the ATI 4800 series, but not by much and ATI is cheaper. You should also know that there is a massive performance difference between a 9800GTX and a GTS 250. Corsair or OCZ for a power supply, try to find one that is core i7 ready in case you want to upgrade later on, but don't go too low in wattage. Antec is always a good case maker. Gigabyte makes awesome motherboards, especially if you want to tweak your processor. I can recommend some good parts if you feel like sending me a PM.
  17. You might be getting near hard drive capacity. Also, Norton is a massive cpu hog. Try shutting it down or uninstalling it, it's a terrible virus scanner anyway.
  18. Nvidia upgrade?

Any one of the GTX series is a massive step up from the 9800 GTX. If you can afford it, go for it.
  19. Demonoid

I've been trying to get an invite for a while. I'd love one if anybody has one.
  20. They don't have the notes because there is no support group for people that are awesome. New pic.
  21. Newegg is the best, but Tigerdirect is good too.
  22. gaming headset

I've used straight Logitech through several headsets, I can't figure out why. They all keep dying. Usually the one's in the $30 - $40 range work the best.
  23. Chrome has always bragged about it's superior speed, but it really does need a better add-on system. What I'm really waiting for is the Google OS. And as for Opera being for noobs; since when did IE explode and die?
