As Silentguns has suggested before, social media is a good way to advertise SG. Groups like IGN are on Facebook, Twitter, .. We can even try to advertise for SG on YouTube in the comment sections. Options are endless, but we have to put effort into it or there will be no effect

Now that we will gradually focus on the forums even more, will there be ways to apply for functions (like Forum Moderator) that are not server-sided? Especially since there's a specific group of people that visit the forums daily but don't play on the servers. Thank you

I have a couple of questions/suggestions that could help out a bit regarding the Subscriber rank. Now that we have a subscriber system, the people that have subscribed should have some feedback regarding the system. I have asked this to Silentguns yesterday, but people that want to unsubscribe should be told how, to keep it fair. Also, I personally feel that in case of a subscriber getting permanently banned, the subscription should be cancelled from SG's side the same month the person is permed to avoid pointless arguments and Spartan getting harassed by angry parents. In case of people not beeing able to pay (in case of prepaid creditcards and such), an email and/or PM should be sent to the person to tell them the payment hasn't gone through. (Maybe unsubscribe the person after 3 warnings and put them on a blacklist to avoid wasting time) - Will the monthly payment add up to your total donated amount? - If people are up for it, will there be different grades of subscriber? (5$, 10$, 20$, ... )

With subscriber in place, what was the goal the higher-ups were aiming for when the idea came up? 50 dedicated subscribers (250$) shouldn't be that hard to find And what's going to convince people to stay subscriber for a year or longer? Ty!

A collaboration with an existing community (Like Hellsgamers, the only one I know) to create a common server. Imagine the outcome of two communities working together. I don't see this as black/white as you might think, i know there's a couple of steps between this actually happening but we can use this as a fast way to test the outcome of said collaboration. Wouldn't mind funding it for the first month, but only if there's actually people playing on it. I have said this to Silentguns a couple of days ago

Approach other communities that are well known to make servers that are not easy to keep alive (minecraft). Let's say Silent and another higher-up from another community work together to make the server. Population from that community would boost our playerbase and would encourage players from both communities to visit the forums, play on servers that they don't have, etc

Working together with another community (say: fusion), is this something that can be discussed or is that a general "No"?

You're not the person who should state this and you don't speak for anybody besides yourself, no matter who shares your opinion. We should go back to the main reason of this thread, since this actually a medium from the players towards the higher-ups.. Is there a plan to decrease the amount of admins? Considering the amount of players on the servers (that's decreasing) there's way too much admins, and considering a system where admins get reviewed every 3-6 months should encourage the current admins to play more and be in the servers I know there's people who won't like this, but this will improve the service towards our players and probably our current admin system. Or is there something else planned?

Will the subscriber rank (I know it's a work in progress) give both ingame and forum sided extra's? I understand if there would be no information given out before it's ready to launch Also, can't we pull in some average known youtubers to feature our community in exchange for the views of our community and unite them under the SteamGamers name. We can pull away the attention from the servers and probably lure in people that way. Our community has users that can edit videos, create various types of Digital Artwork (Yes you Floffy) and i'm sure this will give the current playerbase a reason to support and add the SteamGamers Youtube group, more than now where people just send in a video and get 10-20 views. Serious YouTubers can be featured on our homepage and their newest vids will get like 50-100 views (realistic) more than usual easily.

I donate because the Minecraft server needs to stay.. To keep Silentguns happy ;)

Is there any scenario ongoing where Steamgamers will cease to exist? With this I mean, is there something said about this or asked in the CA meeting. (Not that we're doing bad, but forum activity is going down afaik) Thank you for starting this Q&A btw!
