I'm having a similar problem, I can start up CS but if I join a server as soon as the round starts (or shortly after my game crashes - "Half life 2.exe has stopped working" message pops up.) Maybe we have a similar problem, I assume it is linked to the updating but not sure.

Yea I used to play hide n seek a lot, granted it was not SG's server but I do agree the one's I know of are often empty, they just don't hold a population, kind of like the rally racing one, they are fun when people play but its just not often enough.

What do you mean "Least favorite sport", that is so general is NASCAR a sport? is Starcraft a "E-sport", is rowing a sport etc..? But I do not enjoy watching soccer...so long time between a few really nice goals.

I recently decided to build a new computer. My old one is lame and this laptop has just has it's limited. I ordered all the parts already from Tigerdirect.ca, but after all but the motherboard, Asus M4N78 PRO Motherboard - Socket AM2+, Geforce 8300, ATX, HDMI, SATA, Gbit LAN, Hybrid SLI, arrived I talked to Tigerdirect and it was on backorder. They told me I would have it in 30 days or less...... so I have some choices. 1. I can wait until they ship it. 2. In 48 hours I can see if they have it because they are doing a store check, then if they do they will ship. If not I wait more. 3. I can pick out another mobo from the website. The problem with this is that i'm not really sure what mobo/cpu's work together. So if anyone has a suggestion let me know, I think at this time I might wait it out but I definately don't like that.

I just recently joined SG, and I figured I would go on vent for various reasons. I read in a forum that you needed to join vent and then talk to somone about giving you a password to move channels. This is not my problem. I am unable to connect to vent I am getting "Connected to server but unable to authenticate your login name and password. Make sure....". If anyone can answer this problem let me know, Thanks.
