If you're getting that VAC error and gets dropped by the server afterwards then check this out: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1452-HCVB-6984 If anyone else than me have read what the box says, then it says go to the support page, and I did. I looked a bit around and found the link which worked for me. Just follow the guide and then we'll see if it works. Remember to close steam down, and check if the hl2.exe and the steam.exe is closed.

I don't get this thread, it's like you make a thread to let everyone know that it's actually your brothers fault you got banned? Wow! I've seriously heard that too many times, "It was my brother. He's 8 years old and accidently played on my account, bla bla bla. By the way, why wearing a tag if you're banned anyway. It's enough by showing you're a retard you don't need a tag that shows it.

Well I got that error like 7 times a day, and when that box pops up it says to go to Steam Support, and I did. Then I clicked on a connection issue link and this is what it came up with: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1452-HCVB-6984 It worked for me, try do the guide yourself. It might work.
