  3. This one was being sold on ebay too. A company had a whole bunch of these things. They calibrate perfectly. All of them are new in box never opened. Its a late generation Viewsonic Professional Series P220fb.

  5. i made a video

what am I supposed to be learning here?
  6. This applies to anyone who uses the "half-life 3 confirmed" joke and anyone who takes April 1st seriously.
  7. I've heard that once you learn one Germanic language it is quite easy to pick up another. Anyone care to confirm or deny this/share your experiences? I am kind of wanting to learn a new language ATM.
  8. this IS last years lol. It just hasn't happened yet
  9. no, you cant. You have to register your system after they started giving them out for free. So they are only really giving them to people who just bought one. yes, in theory you could just now be registering your system but I for one did that on the first day.
  10. English (obviously) and Latin (which is no use) I should very much like to learn a new language though.
  11. Gaming headset

I can vouch for Grado making headphones about as sturdy as they come. Steel headband and posts. I cant imagine you could break them through normal use.

dear god, you are my hero. this needs to be saved. and yes it is true. if 7.1 headphones were any better than stereo, then $9000 headphones wouldn't still be using two drivers lol. you have two ear drums. two drivers is more than enough.

  14. Gaming headset

That too. I have never had a pair of headphones break but I have had about 5-6 headsets die on me.

Wow. I actually agree with what Neptune said 100%. Headsets are always worse than separates. (hint: separates are better for everything audio related) $200 pair of headphones and a $50 mic will kick the hell out of a $250 headset. suggestions: http://en-us.sennheiser.com/audio-headphones-high-end-surround-sound-hd-598 http://www.gradolabs.com/page_headphones.php?item=c56e04009f99e060f4c39dfdadb98549 http://north-america.beyerdynamic.com/shop/hah/headphones-and-headsets/at-home/music-pleasure/dt-440-edition.html I have heard good things about all 3 of those and they will all sound better than anyheadset this side of $500. I can personaly vouch for the Grados being truly stunning. Of course there are many options available other than those.
  16. Such necropost. Bump indeed!
  17. and this is what happens if you run a test at 4:30AM
  18. this. WTF Nintendo I bought your shitty game system at the midnight launch and you are giving people who only just now bought it a free game.
  19. INTP Introvert(67%) iNtuitive(12%) Thinking(88%) Perceiving(11)% •You have distinctive preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%) •You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%) •You have strong preference of Thinking over Feeling (88%) •You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (11%) its odd. I am extremely introverted until I actually start talking to someone. Not sure these tests cover enough to get a real sense of who someone is at all. Then again, it could be that I just don't answer questions correctly when it involves who I actually am. EDIT: if you combine the ENTP and the INTP you have me exactly. http://www.humanmetrics.com/personality/entp http://www.humanmetrics.com/personality/intp slightly scary how close it is actually "usually verbally as well as cerebrally quick, and generally love to argue--both for its own sake, and to show off their debating skills. ENTPs tend to have a perverse sense of humor as well, and enjoy playing devil's advocate. This sometimes confuses, even angers, those who don't understand or accept the concept of argument as a sport. very fond of "toys" -- physical or intellectual, the more sophisticated the better. Once these have been "solved" or become too familiar, however, they’ll be replaced with new ones. capable of bonding very closely and suddenly with their loved ones. Some appear deceptively offhand with their nearest and dearest; others are so demonstrative that they succeed in shocking co-workers who've only seen their professional side. ENTPs are also quick to spot a kindred spirit, and good at acquiring friends of similar temperament and interests. pensive, analytical folks. They may venture so deeply into thought as to seem detached, and often actually are oblivious to the world around them. Precise about their descriptions, INTPs will often correct others (or be sorely tempted to) if the shade of meaning is a bit off. While annoying to the less concise, this fine discrimination ability gives INTPs so inclined a natural advantage as, for example, grammarians and linguists. INTPs are relatively easy-going and amenable to almost anything until their principles are violated, about which they may become outspoken and inflexible. They prefer to return, however, to a reserved albeit benign ambiance, not wishing to make spectacles of themselves. Mathematics is a system where many INTPs love to play, similarly languages, computer systems--potentially any complex system. INTPs thrive on systems. Understanding, exploring, mastering, and manipulating systems can overtake the INTP's conscious thought. This fascination for logical wholes and their inner workings is often expressed in a detachment from the environment, a concentration where time is forgotten and extraneous stimuli are held at bay."
