why is every one on steam so worried about spelling

im going to be using it for PC gaming and the computer right now that im running is shit (single core, 200mb of ram, 36 gig hdd) im looking to get a rly good mother board so i can always upgrade esaly if i want and maby it can be a collage computer if possible (im in 10th grade) also is it worth it to get the sandy brige i7 and getting a hybrid SSD or are those rly just 2 show off

i cant buy a real gun i live in the suburbs of new york theres strick gun laws and no where 2 shot also im only 15 and has no money to spend on a real one i wont be able 2 use

i hear that there is cross platfourm co-op on portal 2 because steam has somthing on ps3 if this is true my friend got portal 2 on his ps3 and it comes with a code to get a pc copy (that he gave to me)could we play at the same time if i use his code (me use pc him use his ps3)
