  1. Can you see it now O_o > senior ?
  2. Similar? Yes more of an expansion pack. But its a pretty fun game. The single player campaign is absurdly short and the plot is pretty light. But the guns are great and the graphics are beautiful. In the first game, the battle where you fight in between wrecked cars is a fantastic firefight reminiscent of "Heat".There is no real defining moment of gunfire and mayhem like that. I havent had a chance to play multiplayer, what are your impressions?
  3. I have to say, I wish you the best. This sounds like it has great potential. Not to mention the fact that an all-Aliens-themed-Zombie-mod would be pretty badass.
  4. Notice I said, Better "but not much". Their ridiculous system is indeed overreaching and obnoxious to legitimate customers, however, the 10 day limit was removed and they increased to number of computers from 3 to 10. Thats not to say I'm happy about the DRM, it could have been worse though, It could have been Starforce, that crap will DESTROY your hardware. As for Bioshock, with the details jacked up, It could cripple some systems. A great deal of customers paid no attention to the SMshader requirement though. I wasn't privy to the DX10 experience, but at the time I had 2gb ram, and a Radeon 1950pro, the game ran quite well.
  5. I'm confused, How can I be living in Massachusetts and Michigan at the same time? Is simultaneous existence in the same timeline is possible as long as I don't bump into myself?? Or Does it not matter who i run into as long as I don't influence them?
  6. Wow thats pretty insightful. Unfortunately its harder to tell a board of directors in a really large company that. They just scoff and wheedle about protecting their content. Usually most of them don't actually PLAY the games they are crippling. The upside here is that the developers have listened to the public and have changed the DRM on the game (for Spore and Mass Effect). I believe you have to activate the product, and then you can reinstall 3 more times. No more 10 day limit. Better? a little but not much. Ive played many a pirated game, but the ones I loved, I bought. -Straylight
  7. Gta 4

Is it true you have to entertain your friends every once in a while? That seems almost as annoying as working out in San Andreas. Thats the only thing about the game that I didnt think I'd like though. 'm still without a console, and Still Jealous. -Straylight
  8. Alan Wake

Been waiting for this one forever. I loved the Max Payne series. Lets hope they release this game sometimes before 2010. I DO find it ironic that it will be "VISTA only" considering the fact that xbox360 is incapable of doing dx10. They are making it Vista only purely to make people buy Vista
  9. I don't know, have you played the PC port of RE 4? Holy GOD did they fuck that up. Abysmal controls, terrible stretched textures, and NO WAY TO QUIT THE GAME. It's a true port. Lets hope they have some more sense before releasing that pile of poop to the PC gaming community.
  10. Yeah i went back to XP and realized I missed a whole bunch of features that Vista had.
  11. I believe the general public is still under the impression they heard when Vista first came out. Back then (what a year and a half ago?) compatibility was more of an issue. As far as Source engine goes- I haven't had a problem with It and Vista for quite a while. Oh and Windows 7 is supposed to be more modular, Rumors of letting you purchase you MS Operating system A La carte to only buy what you need. (imagine being able to get windows for less because you opted out of outlook express). The upside to modularity is that each piece has less requirements outside of itself. no more ridiculous dependencies.
  12. Congrats, does this mean they get a raise?
  13. 38 now. :o
  14. Thinking of buying this game for PC? I was, until I read this: http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/05/mass-effect-pc.html In essence their have some ridculously crazy amount of DRM on the PC version of this thing. This is too bad, I was looking forward to too.
