The fundamental issue overlooked here is that steamgamers is, as we've said millions of times whenever someone asks if they can join our "clan", a community more than anything else. Even if you went through with garfield on this and bought every domain name and server odds are the same thing that happened the last time Garfield tried to shove an unwanted rule on a server would happen: People would just ignore you and continue being Steamgamers.

If you want in you're going to have to do it like everyone else. Stick around long enough for the stockholm to set in, or be genuinely awesome and/or productive enough (those two dont always go together) that... well it's still more or less stockholm setting in.
