Good work, we can start to move on now with full control over the domain / host. Also thanks for making sure we never face this issue again, as no one person can ever sell our community again - its all of yours, period. Spike has done a great deal of work and effort, give him your love. Sad to see the two guys step down, well done to both of ye over the years for gob smacking great work for the community!

Sorry Toyz, thought i picked you but it seems i didnt, you an blame the website for moving faster than my clicks.

The change has to happen now, no other way. Glad there is room to do something with the domain later (even .community.. SteamGamers Community is also different as is Steam-Gamers). I'v been up and down the walls with everyone today and knowing hosting / domains, thanks to Spike for taking alot of time with me, Caution and others. We resettle and fight another day.

Some of us could help raise funds or for the current domain. While we can not have a 3rd party holding the community domain, I still think there could be some options that could be done with this but have not been involved. The new domain is too close to this one if it is to avoid the legal part you said, its still the same and unless he has trademarked it, nothing to worry about and we can prove ownership of the brand based on years of use across the internet which is a much stronger case. If moving to another domain, there is better ones we can get than a .net and - in the middle of the name. We have steamgamers.net ... or go for steam-gamers.netmunity / steamgamers.website

If ever bring back the "store" again, that will add alot to the downloads so best we keep it lean where we can or for other stuff. We can always swap out a skin for another one if people don't like it after a while or to shake things up

Just a little thing, i kinda agree that you could have let some of the higher-ups know you will step down (PM or in the CA section) - even if it was short notice. This has always happened and for everyone else there (and SA's) & promoted in the future, it remains so. You may give out to me on this but I think its right & respectful. =)
