  1. Post Your Car!

Update, and drastic changes. For starters I removed the "gloss wicked" wrap. It was hideous. Took these 2 first photos like a month ago, looks pretty much the same now except for the roof. I redid the roof in matte carbon and I don't really like it. Will eventually do the roof in gloss black. Also, this is how it looked when I bought it in early 2020. So much for getting a "cheaper car"... I've ended up buying brand new m-sport front/rear bumpers, modifying the exhaust/dual exit, 335i diffusor, front splitter, new wheels, 15% tint... I also have new "M3-style" sideskirts that I haven't fitted yet - plan on getting some side splitters for them, but if I do that then I 'dunno what I'll do around and under the back bumper. Will probably look kinda empty if I don't get rear spats or something. Anyways that's just the exterior. I've also changed the headunit, some of the speakers and put in a small active subwoofer just to get a little extra bass "kick". Rip my wallet.
  2. Post Your Car!

So I sold this around 10 months ago. Mostly because they are depreciating like crazy, but also because the engines are ticking time bombs, and I don't want to be in a position where I might have to shell out $7000-9000 for a new engine - because it's Norway; stuff is expensive, and these cars don't get thrown at you like they do everywhere else. There's basically none of them around, and certainly no used parts or engines... I ended up buying a equally unreliable but a lot cheaper car - a 2009 BMW E92 320D, the one with the N47 2.0 diesel engine, the one with the timing chain issues. BUT this one is low mileage, only 94.000KM, so I'm probably good for at least 50.000-100.000KM before the timing chain/fasteners goes poof. But putting that aside, it is actually the most comfortable, economical and fuel friendly car I have owned. Guessing that says a lot about the cars I have driven. This is how it looked when I bought it in february I then wrapped it in 3M 2080 Gloss Wicked, which is a metallic black/purple with some red/green/blue flakes in it. Worst decision ever. You can only see the color from the right angle during full on sunny weather, and it's rarely sunny in Trondheim/Norway where I live. The rest of the time it just looks like a black/gray shitty paintjob with lots of orange peel. I'll do a different wrap next season since I absolutely hate this one. Full M-Sport bumpers, "CSL-Look" trunk, aftermarket wheels and a lowered suspension is also on the list. I played around with 3M GP278/Flip Deep Space for the interior bits. Im leaning a lot towards doing a color shifting wrap on the whole car next time, but the material is a bit too expensive for what you get. You don't really have a lot of longevity in vinyl, especially not in the climate I live in.
  3. Uhmmmyeah, I'm late to the party....
  4. Wireless Headsets

I've got the Steelseries Arctis 7 Wireless. They're pretty good. Might be a bit out of your price range but I don't think you will find anything satisfactory at a lower price point. EDIT: On a second note... They're not that far off of $100 right now depending on where you look. https://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Lossless-Wireless-Headset-Headphone/dp/B07FZVXS8H/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=arctis+7+wireless&qid=1573253752&sr=8-3
  5. The Return...

Oo, nice. Test my shitty am_loot2 please I didn't bother testing it on an actual 1v1 server. Just wanna know if there's any issues. Not saying "pls add".
  6. Post Your Car!

  7. If we're talking recent shows I'd also go with chernobyl, even if it's just a miniseries.
  8. Post Your Car!

bruh... you need new wheels. and possibly a new vape.
  9. Aha, thanks. I tried using as that seems to cancel out BB codes on other forums, but it didn't work here. EDIT: lol noparse screws up quotes
  10. Short answer: The same way you preview all other images, not via the forums built in image viewer thingy that activates if you choose the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" option when you insert an image. That's what screwed up your GIF. Long answer: You need a direct link to the GIF you want. Either find the GIF online, or upload the file to some hosting site. Anyways, you need a link that shows the filename. Like this: https://i.imgur.com/i2FrqcR.gif - "i2FrqcR.gif" is the filename. Then you need to paste that link inbetween BB codes for image previews. It should look like this: And that will end up previewing the image in your post. You can also use the Insert Image function. This will put the image preview codes in for you. Just remember to un-check "Retrieve remote file and reference locally". It's checked by default, and it's honestly the only issue you ran into.

  12. Steelseries Arctis 5, "legacy" model They are very comfortable, adjustable and even customizable. Steelseries received a lot of praise on their "ski goggles" strap design. They sell different straps if you want a more fancy looking one, but you can essentially put on whatever strap you want as long as it's the same width as the original one. The ear cushions are big, soft and well ventilated, but that also means that this headset doesn't cancel outside noise very well. I don't mind though. Ventilation>sweaty ears. Steelseries sells additional leather ear cushions for those that would like more noise cancelling. The sound is clear and highly detailed, but not very bass heavy. It's not exactly a music headset, but you can configure the equalizer however you want, so if you want more bass you are able to achieve that. Volume knob, mic on/off switch and retractable microphone on the left side of the headset. The microphone is said to be the best one you can get on a gaming oriented headset. It's kind of debatable, but there are plenty of reviews around that backs this up. You also have a mini-amp that supposedly controls chat volume, but I've personally never got it to work. The "amp" is too light to stay still on a desk. It's especially annoying as the cable tends to somehow wrap around the left armrest of my chair, and I don't notice until I start jerking the cable. The cable and connection has held up really good considering the amount of times I've basically sent it flying to the ground. The price has dropped all the way down to around $60-70 recently so I would recommend the Arctis 5 or even the Arctis 3 - which is even cheaper, and basically the same thing but without RGB lighting on the sides - if you're on a budget. I would rather buy the Arctis Pro Wireless, but that's in a much higher price range. Costs a whoppin' $380.
  13. Case: NZXT H440 (Hyper Beast Limited Edition #44) MB: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F CPU: Intel i7-8700K ~ 4.7GHz OC CPU Cooler: Corsair H105 240mm Liquid Cooler RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3200MHz GPU: EVGA GTX 980Ti 6GB SC - This is the bottleneck, but I don't want to overclock it because it's a reference-design GPU. Meaning that I already get shit temps. Case Fans: 3x 120mm stock (front), 2x 120mm NZXT AER RGB (top), 1x 140mm NZXT AER RGB (rear) Case lighting module: NZXT HUE+ PSU: Corsair HX 1000W SSD1: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD2: Corsair Force Series F60 HDD1: Seagate Barracuda XT 2TB HDD2: Seagate Barracuda 2TB Will need a new graphics card in a year or so. Would also like to swap out the liquid cooler with a NZXT kraken one for aesthetic purposes. Would also kind of like to remove the glass from the case and tint it a bit.
  14. Post Your Car!

I'm bored, my car is in winter storage and I miss it... So here's a bunch of pictures and stuff I've done since I posted 1 year ago. First; I picked up this cheap POS rustbucket Mazda 3. As long as it runs this will be my daily driver, but it won't pass EU inspections so I'll have to scrap it before next time it's due to pass, which is early 2020 I think. 10/10 pictures though, amirite? Second; My GT86. This is what it looked like when I bought it in september 2017. This is what it looked like this summer. It's currently in winter storage. I've done much more than what you can see in those pictures -- and I do have more of 'em, but I'll type it out in text since I planned on keeping this somewhat short to avoid starting a trend of massive picture heavy posts. Valenti taillights Valenti 4th brake light (modded) Morimoto XB LED fog lights OEM armrest OEM mud flaps Rain guards Kenwood ddx4017dab head unit (2din) Ground Zero sound deadening in door panels, quarter-panel/rear wheel well area, spare tire well, roof, trunk/carpet cover Replaced all speakers with ones from rockford fosgate Properly wired up and installed a 1600w pioneer amplifier 2x Rockford Fosgate p2d2 10" subwoofers in a temporary universal ported enclosure Dinitrol anti-rust full body treatment Tanabe medalion touring catback Tanabe catless frontpipe (uninstalled due to rasp) EBC OE replacement brake discs EBC yellowstuff brake pads MTEC Industries stainless steel brake lines, smoke Refurbished gold-painted oem calipers XXR 527 18x8.75 wheels on 225/40 Toyo Proxes Sport tires D2 Street Coilovers (TÜV-legal and approved by Norway's biggest pain in the ass, our state highway authority) +++ Maintenance, small stuff and whatnot. Still got major plans, but it will take time. Stuff is expensive lol. There's a few things that will be prioritized during this winter, and those are mainly... Resonated front pipe and UEL headers. Possibly HKS frontpipe and Tomei headers, if I don't go with OFT's package "deal". Also, pops'n'bangs tune. EcuTek or OFT. TRD front bumper "lip", TRD side skirts, TRD rear bumper "lip", legsport clubman ducktail. #savethefenders. No widebody over here.

  17. Post Your Car!

Well I currently own 2 cars. 2012 Toyota GT86 Still pretty much stock original except for clear red Valenti taillights and some bulbs I replaced with LEDs. I have a lot of plans for this car though. 1999 Volvo V70 2.5T AWD V70R front bumper + carbon look front lip C70 clear glass headlights XC-grille Re-wired from EU to US blinkers Pretty much LEDs everywhere there used to be halogen bulbs Mounted a LED-bar underneath the front license plate BSR Stage 2. Tune and 3" double exhaust 18x8" Caneo wheels 2DIN headunit with navigation, bt, usb, aux, options for rear camera and countless monitors All speakers have been swapped out with Kenwood speakers 720W Kenwood amp for said speakers Used to have a 1200W Ground Zero amp and 2x12" Ground Zero subwoofers in the back, but I sold those. This one is for sale though. Need $$ 4 GT86 upgrades. lmao Also, license plates are shopped out because services are so public in Norway that people can easily find your phone number and home address just by looking up who a car is registered to.
  18. This is from back in November Only difference now is a new computer case (haters gonna hate btw), extra SSDs, and a different RGB LED strip that covers the entire length of the desk.
  19. Smee tower pls? I'll try to be there.
  20. I'll take the Evo
  21. Hey. Most of you new guys probably don't know me, but I've been around since early 2010. I was most active from 2011-2014 on the CS Source MG server. Me leaving/stepping down probably doesn't come as a surprise as I have been inactive for around a year or so. This will sound as an excuse, but lots of complicated bullshit happened. I was hospitalized for 2 weeks in January and had to make a lot of major changes to my life. (I won't go much into details but a handful of SG people already knows what happened. Ask around.) On top of all this, I work night shifts at the local airport so I don't really have much spare time. I sleep during the day and work on evenings/nights. I'm lucky if I get to play 1 or 2 weekly games of matchmaking with friends. I don't see me having enough spare time to be part of a community in any near future, so I have decided to step down from admin and I probably won't be around on the forums either. I'd like to thank the community and its members. It's been a fun 5-6 years. Maybe I'll join the servers sometime, maybe not. Who knows. We'll see when I get a break from work. But for now, good bye.
  22. The Gathering 2016

I was there in 2014 and 2015. Was supposed to go this year as well but too many sick people at work made that impossible. Sold my ticket. :/
