  1. dual screens, silly photobucket, you make everything so small.
  2. mmmm my bad. Crap. New to the forum and didn't realize how old these were, excuse me
  3. If you want a gaming laptop, get an ASUS G series laptop. I have one and bring it to school daily. The things are tanks and can hold up to anything. Plus ASUS has a 1 year complete warranty. if you manage to drop it or break it because of an accident on your end, they will fix it for free. How awesome is that? You can get a good ASUS 17" gaming laptop for around $1200. Now you might think I'm crazy but Best Buy has the best deal on their ASUS laptop. Just don't buy into their protection plans. It's actually a couple hundred dollars cheaper than newegg. (Amazing right?)
  4. I honestly despise Norton 360 more than McAfee, both suck up completely unreasonable amounts of PC resources and they are both expensive. I've used a lot of scanners on the market and by far the best free virus scanner I've used was AVG, it's simple, small, and to the point. It's easy to use and has never failed me. The best 'subscription' antivirus I've used has by far been kaspersky, but then again i got it free from a promotion at best buy. --but honestly, the best antivirus is you. You decide what you download and what websites you visit *cough* so use common sense.
  5. Blue screens that you're describing are most likely driver or software related. Since you are completely shut out of your system the best option is to reformat. If you're concerned about losing your data then run a live CD of UBUNTU and transfer over all of your files onto an external drive. Save yourself the money and reformat yourself. You should have gotten a DVD with the computer.
  6. Surewest is the best. Fiber optic internet is the future.
