Penguin, I recommend using that pre-built as a model for building your own, look at each individual piece and look up on newegg, ebay, tigerdirect, and such. See if you can do better and upgrade a lot of those things. And do you really need a monitor?

Well, if you bought a pre built PC by Dell or Compaq or whatever else, one that would run BF3 pretty well would be maybe 600-1000 dollars. That would be a mid-top of line PC. But if you shop around, you could probably go further than that and get some extras like an SSD drive or maybe cooling.

Well, you just need to make sure you get the proper suspension on there or you might have quite the bumpy ride. And yes, building it is much more affordable and you really know exactly what is going into your machine. If you don't think you can personally build it, you can always hire someone locally to build it for you, shouldn't cost too much. You just need to research each and every part you want.

Just go for goddamn broke, we can afford the server. We either get the initial player base or the server will die. I personally only look for the 64 slot servers because I find them more realistic and entertaining. There is no need to be safe because we're paying for it anyways, just get a goddamn 64 slot and advertise the fuck out of it.
