Lux

I could either fight for my own sake and argue that what I did wasn't really that bad and has been blown out of proportion, which may or may not get me a lesser punishment, but would result in my reputation being ruined. Or I could accept what I did was wrong and apologise to anyone I offended. Of course, cynicism will rear it's ugly head. Even now, the fact that I've talked about weighing up my options and deciding which way to head seems like I've made some premeditated decision to lessen the impact on my own person.

People could also think I'm just trying to get off the hook and playing the innocent guy who went too far. I'm not like that and my friends who know me will believe me, and that's enough for me.
