I have no doubts that the engine could pull a house from its foundation. Its the suspension, brakes, and other components that comes with the truck that I'd be worried about. I didnt think the SRT 10 was built for towing...

I needed a truck that could tow 10000+ lbs.

You don't like the color of my truck? I originally wanted a deep red, but when it came to features, I was somewhat limited on my choices. The truck HAD to have the following : 1) Manual transmission 2) Diesel 3) Model year before 2008. The newer diesel trucks have more strict emissions control which cause more issues and reduce fuel mileage. It's surprising how hard it is to find a truck with a manual transmission, though.

Thanks man... my dad and I have put a ton of work into the car, so I do love hearing the compliments. The car cost me $10k originally and it was a piece of shit when I got it. I've dumped about $6k to get it where it is today. The rims and wheels cost about $1k. Paint another $1k which I got at Sherwin William. I paid a local shop another $1.5k to paint it. The rest of the cost went in various parts -- new windshield, suspension, interior, engine rebuild, etc. Keep in mind that this includes no labor costs. With the exception of the paint, my dad did all of the work and didn't charge me for it. I couldn't imagine what it would have cost had I brought it to a shop to do the work for me. Unfortunately, as I said in my post, the car still isn't done. I need to redo the front engine wiring harness, get the motor doors working for the lights, a new stereo system, alarm system, A/C, heat, etc. I don't think the car will ever be done.

Well, its been over a year since I originally started this project. I'd figure I'd post some pictures on here. After driving my dads restored Camaro around last year, I decided that I really wanted my own Camaro. Finding one was proving to be difficult. A fully restored camaro can go for quite a bit of money. Towards the end of summer last year, I saw this 1967 Camaro RS/SS with a 396 engine parked outside of a guys house out in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't for sale, but it never moved, so I offered to buy it from him, cash. He agreed. This is what the car looked like when I drove it home that day. Overall, it was in very bad shape. One thing the photo doesn't show is that the passenger side door and fender was smashed in, like someone hit it. For the record, I am funding the project, and my dad is doing almost all of the work. ...and thus, begins the restore. The passenger side door, vender, and front valance needed to be replaced entirely : There were also major issues with the 396 engine that it came with. We found that the eighth cylinder wasn't firing. I ended up having to take the heads to a machinist to get all 8 of them repaired. I also replaced the valve seats, push rods, lifters, and bought a new cam shaft. For those of you with a sharp eye, you can see that the 8th notch in the cam shaft is completely worn down. I did a lookup on the serial number from the engine. It apparently came from a 1969 Chevelle : Removal of the front allowed easy access to the engine : A quick time lapse of the front being worked on : I don't have photos, but at this point, we did a ton of work mechanically and electronically. The entire suspension has been reworked and replaced, both front and back. The interior was gutted, etc. We were too busy working on the car for me to take photos. I need to spend another $6k to get the car to a point where I like it : new front A-arms, new wiring harness, replace the door lights engines, a new master cylinder, a new radio, an alarm system, etc. At least I can drive it right now, though. Oh, I'd love to post a burn out video, but I already got in trouble for doing that... who would have thought that one could get a ticket by doing burn outs on private property. wtf...

I dunno... I think he took it quite well. I'd be a mushroom cloud laying mother fucker if someone canceled my WoW account.

Yeah, that 30" barrel is a pain in the ass. Anyway, as for the number of shells that the shotgun can hold, check this video out. This dude shows how you can increase the capacity. I haven't tried it yet, so I'm not sure if it works. It's worth trying. AExsIaS08Go

Hey, they looks exactly like my shotgun. If you ever get a chance to shoot it, let me know how that goes. I have yet to take mine out too. One thing about the Mossberg 500 is that you don't need ammunition for it to be effective. If anyone ever breaks into my house, the first thing they'll hear is the sound of me cocking that shotgun. Man, I love that sound.

I recently inherited one of these from my grandmother : A Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun. I did some research and it appears to have a ton of upgrades and interchangeable parts. I was thinking about replacing the stock with a pistol grip , purchasing a shorter barrel, and replacing the wood grain fore-end with a black one so that it looks more like this : I still have yet to fire this gun though. I'll have to find some outdoor range to practice on. None of the indoor ranges that I frequent allow me to shoot shotguns.... for good reason.

iPhone, hands down. Has anyone tried Shazam? That app actually works very well. I also purchased Beejive. Its a bit expensive, but it gets rid of the need for me to purchase a text messaging plan for the phone. "Where" is pretty cool in that it locates gas stations near you along with the price of gas at that station. Some other apps I use are : ShoZu, MySpace, TouchTerm, Flixter, Urbanspoon, Wikipanion, Google Earth, and i.TV

I got my conceal carry permit towards the end of summer. I picked up a Sig Sauer 232 about a week ago as my conceal carry weapon. I can literally carry the gun on my belt covered only by my t-shirt and it barely noticeable. Hell, it even fits in my pocket, though that gets a bit uncomfortable. To make up for the .380 ACP size bullets, I use hollow points. Damn, hollow point bullets are expensive. I forgot to mention... my holster is a leather waistband inside the pant holster from Galco.

Same. I'll be out for 6 days starting tomorrow as I visit the theme parks of Walt Disney World in Florida. I'm sure I'll lose my #1 rank on napalm to [PR]Kind by the time I get back next week. Oh well.

I actually had a phone interview with them for a software development position in their Boulder office a few months ago. I didn't even make it to the second interview, lol. The weird thing is that I nailed every one of their questions. Oh well. I guess they didn't like my voice.
