Dodge actually approves the use of a biodiesel/diesel mix in their newer trucks (2007+). Commercial fleet vehicles can use a 20% mix whereas personal vehicles can use up to 5%. Kinda sucks since all of the biodiesel stations around here only provide between 20%-100% biodiesel mix. I could probably put in a higher mix, but I don't want to invalidate my warranty.

Nice truck. Is it a 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, or 1 ton? I didn't notice any badging on the side. Did you remove them? I just recently traded in my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 for a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel to help me tow my "toys". I also want to keep this truck awhile, which is why I went diesel. Too bad diesel prices are going through the roof lately.

Thats exactly why I don't feed my fish live food. I used to feed my Arowana frozen shrimp that I purchase from the pet store. It costs about $25 a bag which lasts 6 months. However, I recently switched to some type of frozen fish I found at a vietnamese market last month. These bags have about a million of these 1" frozen fish that sell for $3 and should last at least a year. Unfortunately, ever since I switched, I noticed some odd white slime growing in my tank and clogging up my filtration system. I have no idea what it is, so I may have to switch back to the expensive stuff that's sold at the pet store again.

I'd head straight to the local CostCo. That place is built like a bunker and there's enough food and supplies to last awhile.

For something a little differerent... My 22" black arowana of 8 years died a few months ago : Goddamn, I'm pissed about that too. Arowana's are known to jump at least 6' in the air and I forgot to close the lid one day. I came home and found him on the floor, dead. I've since replaced him with a 24" silver arowana : Hmm, think I should feed him live food? For the record, I'd never do this. I feed my arowana frozen shrimp and frozen feeder fish. Ck2JuR7JMNg
