For some reason I have always remembered you specifically, BoM. And in the early days not in a good way.

When I just joined SG I was still young-ish (8 years ago holy shit) and I was just fucking around on the PB and ZE servers and when I joined the forums and eventually became SA for a while we had a few spats and I have always remembered you as the asshole of SG because you could be quite harsh and direct.

 

I very distinctly remember you having a profile picture of Neil Patrick Harris back then and for the longest time I hated Neil Patrick Harris because I associated him with you.

My girlfriend really wanted to watch " How I met your mother " with me and I refused because of this (though I didn't tell her that ofc xd)

 

Much later, after I became less active on SG (and became older) I realized that my hostile feelings towards you was nothing more than childish drama from way back when you berated me on something that I most likely deserved.

 

I know we haven't spoken much at all over our combined time here at SG and you probably won't remember me but I figured I'd finally tell this story as for some reason I've always remembered it.

 

I wish you the best of luck with your new endeavors and SG will remember you

I will miss you dearly as I slowly begin to recognize how you helped shape me into the person I am today. Thank you for everything, and as the community we owe you everything for all the work you've done and all the efforts only a handful of people have seen.

 

Please, have a restful "retirement" and stop by the Discord every once in a while to catch up.

Sad to see you go BoM.

 

You've done a great deal for the community.

 

You were basically the voice of the community, keeping our members up to date with the decisions made by the higher staff, listening to what our community had to say, etc. 

 

This in return meant you were the one receiving all the backlash when there was any disagreement with the decisions made, but even then you were always there to listen to the community's members and their needs, trying to make it a better place for everyone.

 

Appreciate everything you've done.
