1.20 (1.19.3) SMP Public Beta Test

Hello this is a quick announcement opening our 1.19.3 SMP server for a public beta test!

 

This server has existed for many weeks now as I made it a while back expecting 1.20 to be released last month.

Since it is still not released I thought I'd let you guys play around in 1.19.3 until 1.20 comes out and the official SMP is released.

 

Server information is given below  Enjoy and please remember to report any bugs/issues. No whitelist required.

 

People have already been playing it to help me test so you can expect some builds and other things to be present.

 

How to Join

1.19.3 SMP

 

NO WHITELISTING REQUIRED

Optional Proximity Voice Chat
We will be running optional prox voice chat using Simple Voice Chat!

 

Instructions

 

1. Install Fabric at https://fabricmc.net/use/
   - Choose the windows version and then run the EXE
   - Click okay and it should download properly

 

2. Launch Minecraft with your new installation of 1.19.3 Fabric
   - This should create a Mods Folder in your .minecraft folder (Windows Search Bar -> %appdata% -> .minecraft)

 

3. You also need to download the 1.19.3 Fabric API into your Mods folder

4. Install 1.19.3 Simple Voice Chat into your Mods Folder
   - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/simple-voice-chat
   - MAKE SURE IT IS NOT THE FORGE VERSION!

 

5. Launch the Minecraft Launcher, there should now be an installation for Fabric 1.19.3, hit play and load into the Server
   - 135.148.5.24

 

6. Once in the server, hit V to configure the mod itself and enjoy!
   - The Mod has a decent bit of customization and allows you to control some various quality of life things, make sure to have a look around!

Sodium (Fabric's Better OptiFine)

OptiFine is fairly nonoptimal so we are recommending another mod named Sodium! Just install the latest version and slap it into your Mods folders.

FAQ

Q: How do I dedicate more Ram to Fabric?
   - Open the Launcher and click Installations at the top.
   - Highlight over Fabric-Loader-1.19.3 and click the 3 dots to the far right
   - Click Edit
   - At the bottom of the page, click MORE OPTIONS
   - Find JVM ARGUMENTS and change the 2 in -Xmx2G -XX to the amount of ram you are wishing to dedicate. IE: -Xmx6G -XX
      - I recommend half your total ram or less

Q: Minecraft crashes when I hit play
   - Check your Mods Folder to make sure everything downloaded is 1.19.3
   - Make sure your version of Fabric is also 1.19.3
   - Restart the game and good luck

Q: I messed with my settings and now I can’t hear anyone!
  - Relog into the server, it's a strange little bug
  - Relog after anytime you change your settings, just to avoid any issues

Q: Can I improve my FPS in any other ways?
  - The creator of Sodium has a few other additional mods that could improve your fps!

- /msg - Message another online user
- /sit - Take a seat
- /rtp - Teleport to a random location

 

Claiming
- /claim - Claim your base/items!
- /trust {player} - Trust others to allow them access to your claim

 

Warping
- /home set {name} - Create a new home (up to 3)
- /home delete {name} - Delete a home by its name
- /home homes - List all your created homes
- /home {name} - Warp to an already created home
- /warp list - List the current server wide warps
- /warp {name} - Teleport to a given warp

 

Teleport Requests
- /tpa {player} - Send a teleport request to teleport to another player
- /tpahere {player} - Send a teleport request to teleport another player to you
- /tpaccept - Accept current /tpa or /tpahere request
- /tpdeny - Deny current /tpa or /tpahere request
- /tptoggle {player} - Toggle /tpa and /tpahere requests from a player
- /tpcancel - Cancel outgoing teleport request

 

Economy
- /deposit - Deposit your diamonds into the diamond bank
- /withdraw - Withdraw your deposited diamonds
