Daze Posted November 27, 2008 Content Count: 6741 Joined: 06/10/08 Status: Offline Share Posted November 27, 2008 posting links to illegal downloading onto the forum brings SteamGamers in to your illegal activity, I wouldn't like to see a lawsuit against us for sharing torrent links.. I'm glad you've edited it. Link to comment

Astrum Posted November 28, 2008 Content Count: 1349 Joined: 05/09/08 Status: Offline Share Posted November 28, 2008 Torrents are not illegal. Downloading copyrighted material is not illegal. Distributing copyrighted material without the owner's consent is illegal. If it's a copyrighted work, don't post a link to the torrent. If it's a linux distribution or something like that then feel free to post a link to the torrent. That's the gist of it. Link to comment
Tcp-Kill Posted November 28, 2008 Content Count: 5007 Joined: 04/12/08 Status: Offline Share Posted November 28, 2008 Taking in consideration of what astrum said, i would say no. Just to be safe, we don't want steamgamers to be responsible of others actions. i have no idea what it is and it may be legal, but just in case. Link to comment
