Now i would like 2 say that idc about what happened to u, u bring up a point i also need seen that admins will slay because they are giving privileges by cts, i have this happen to me cause im epic, but if i kill a ct he doesn't want me 2 do it next round so i told an admin back off the roof NOW gave him a total of 7 warning shots to the leg let him heal after each and gave him time then he says in admin chat I WOULDN'T DO THAT AGAIN IF I WERE U (he is a t im ct) so i say off now or die 3 2 1 and some 1 else on ct kills him and i get slayed. yes this incident was handled (thx third). but i have seen this concept alot of admin is god if u shoot him for breaking a rule "NEXT TIME I BAN U IF U DO THAT", or "WTF *slayes*" i mean admins are not gods they are the means to clean servers not the ppl who play it all the time do the demos and get ppl banned when no 1 is on thats the players they should have the power so why do the admins get the right to be gods and i have seen this happen with many admins on the server so i would like to just know why this is such a epidemic is there some amin code i dont know about ik most the new admins they are not the ones doing it save not to mention but a very few ppl mostly its older admins that are on the way out and or just feel they have earned the right i hate this because as a player it just destroys the idea of respect all players/admins it makes it and also all things such as that need to go ADMINS

Well if it's any consulation: Atleast they didn't ban you.

 

No, there will be no hard feelings if you spend the 5 seconds to ACTUALLY start a demo recording of the situation and then (oh, this is the hard part) make a thread with the said demo of misdeeds in a rar or zip file attachment.

 

And this isn't any of that "Oh, the admins are covering for their own" bullshit, I'm just tired of reading this threads with nothing backing them up but personal anecdote.

 

If the said admins continue the behavior, strikes will also be given accordingly.

 

As for admin complaints being rejected with a higher rate, simply view how few of them have attachments, then go take a look into the player complaints section.

 

The only epidemic I see is this wave of anonymous complaints.

pot i have admins that do c this and call bullshit so its not admin covers admins its 1 admin there does this if not the good admins (u are in this category so y whine bout it) say something its a point so ppl can see what is to b look 4 as some ppl think thats just standard administrating so thats the point not to call out certain admins or names would be dropped so i dont want to hear this is a witch hunt if u read the 2 posts saying NO NAMES MENTIONED u might have noticed that, and that its here not in the admin complaint section i couldt get an admin in trouble with a demo any way with my history so y would i try i had 5 ppl for perma bans easy but the aos could take the time to watch it so i dont want to hear that pot.

 

and pot a ban gets them a strike a slay gets them bitched at so no its not a consolation thx though

Took forever to read this post because how it's like Wormy.. But yea, there is admins who keep slaying people just because they die and they think they got killed for no reason..

 

Myself I've chilled since the start times of PB when things really were out of hand. I tend to punish a few times, warn and then ban.

Of course when I'm mistaken and I realize that - I apologize, people leaves it and forgets about it.

 

Just if you see admins abuse their power, just start recording.. Most of time they keep doing same things over and over again. Just don't yell out anything that you're going to try bust them or they'll freak and avoid doing it again at about all costs.

So once again, believe it or not a few of us are "professional" enough to want to prevent deviation of the said rules, retaliation by the admin will not be accepted, and any attempt to do so will be another strike or removal.

What's nice about a demo is that even if people don't like you, doesn't mean if you have video taped proof of something bad happening that it is not true.

 

Demo's are considered 'proof' because they show exactly what was happening and by who. It's extremely hard to 'fake a demo' unless you're pretty skilled at video editing.

 

 

Get a demo or don't complain about supposed admins abusing. Or at least for the love of God give names, so we can back you up and/or explain the situations to you.

 

 

It's pretty fucking hard to be on a 'witch hunt' for something we don't even know what. If Admin A is the one abusing, and I witness Admin B doing it, and pin the previous actions of Admin A on him as well (since I didn't know who the fuck Admin A was) does it sound fair? No.

 

If you said 'Alright guys, I'm know that this admin named name here abuses in PB, you should watch him'. This would be much easier. Who cares if the admin you named flames you or says 'OMG I DONT', the people who are concerned with keeping the servers clean will still watch him.
