I'm still stumbling through life trying to figure out what I really want to do. Don't know if there's anything I could have done to speed up my decision making. Too many things interest me, but no one thing really makes me passionate.

I really think you should have an age restriction on this thread, there are people still in high school with parents threatening to buy them Xboxes.

Do you feel you are going anywhere in life?

Not right now :( working on it though

What do you want to do?

Not a Clue, never have and doubt i really ever will.

How do you think you have strayed from where you want to be?

Lack of focus at secondary school level limited my university options, now i'm looking for a job in a economic climate where few are hiring, and the university degree i have worked 3 years to get (2.1 honours in War Studies) doesn't open any paths work-wise (degree was chosen through intrest rather than prospects). I'm currently doing voluntery clerical work for University College London in my Dad's department, hopefully that will bring me some exp for my CV, plus i now have (from my workplace) a referee to provide for applications. If not, in 1-2 years time, once i've hopefully earned money, ill go back to university and do postgraduate studies in something that will be useful (via a conversion course)

Go.

1. Yes, I have a great job. I earn nearly twice as much as my friends in the same age group although, I only want to do this job for another 2 years maximum.

2. What I want to do? Same thing as everyone else, make enough money working so I can eventually stop working.

3. From when I left school I don't think I've strayed off course at all, I'm 18, I have an advanced degree in computing, Microsoft qualifications. Before all of that I didn't care for schooling, I was kicked out of one college for poor attendance. After that I got my act together and now I'm where all my friends want to be in 2-3 years.

Yes, I have a great career that pays well enough to live comfortably. It's not what I had planned but I love what I do so I can't complain.

As far as future plans.... I would like to do some investing, diversify my monies. Plus I think I would make a great slumlord.

Yes I would say I strayed from where I planned on being.. I didn't plan on having kids until I was 40. Here I am with 2 kids and I'm only 33. Also I planned on marrying a Brasilian super-model.. but that didn't work out.. at least she still calls me.
