Evga 8600gt

Just got the Evga 8600gt card early for xmas, this card is great. has a dedicated chip for Vista aero, offloads work from the cpu to the card for better os performance, has physics processing. Was going to get a 8800gt but got this as a gift. If your looking for a new card and don't have a lot of money newegg has it for 79 bucks with gdd3 memory.

 

Fear Max settings except aa and faa

Red Alert 3 High settings except water on medium, aa off

Battle for middle earth 2 high settings

 

Going to test bioshock next with dx10.

i was runing Crysis 30fps with that card its not bad

i've had an 8600gt for a while, want to get a new card, but yes this one is not bad for the price. personally i've been surprised with how well it eats through most anything you can throw at it.
