Danny G Posted December 17, 2008 Content Count: 549 Joined: 04/22/08 Status: Offline Share Posted December 17, 2008 unable to remove c:\program\steam\steamapps\daniel143279\counter-strike source\cstrike\textwindow_temp.html! couldn't exec userconfig.cfg Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/config.cfg So every time I try to change my resolution to (LCD) highest one, and quit CSS and restart it again, it seems like my resolution goes back to it's default option. I don't know if I'm missing userconfig.cfg or something like that. I've been roaming around google and searching and looking for help, apparently the only thing I got was to re-install my CSS which I've done 5 times now. So please if you possibly know anything about this problem, tell me. Link to comment

When you run CSS again, it will create a new one you'll have to go through all your binds and key functions as well as your video and sound settings but once you save it, hopefully it will stick. I only have a file named config.cfg, not user at the first so I can't find the real one. Should I delete this one instead and install css again? Link to comment
