I couldn't do it with just normal towers, but I beat it with 37 lives left.

 

There are 50 rounds btw

It's easy to do it with normal towers if you know which one to spam.

My lives would have been higher, but my stupid dart throwers in the beginning were being...well, stupid.

I beat it without losing a life a few times. I played a harder version of this a couple months ago, and could never beat that one.

I prefer just playing wintermaul on WC3. It's much more fun and requires a lot more skill.

Haha, I remember Wc3. I played when it was a beta and a few years after. Brian (Duke Wintermaul) was pretty cool, he always gave me good ideas for my maps.
