Psyche Posted January 7, 2009 Content Count: 3343 Joined: 06/03/08 Status: Offline Share Posted January 7, 2009 Most of you already know, paypal sucks, ALOT. Here is a story of me bitching on why I can't as of now be an admin. One day on the SG community I went online and saw Mercy aid, DUDE APPLY FOR ADMIN LOL, since it had been a month I decided to reapply, I was extremely happy to seem my application get approved within a few hours so I decided to try to get my paypal working, I had forgotten both my password and account email, so I easily got my email back but when I got my password wasn't as forgiving, I kept geting the same Sorry- Your last action could not be completed, I just tried guessing the password, but even if I got the wrong password I still got the same error, a few days later I called paypal, instead of getting an actual representative I got some shitty bot, when gave me a code to reset my password, too bad when I put it in I got the error again, when I wen't to the support page to ask about my problem they kept telling me to call the number, I WENT TO EVERY LINE ASSOCIATED WITH ACCOUNTS, AND GOT NOTHING, then I contacted Zero001, he said 'Sorry, if paypal is fucking up, there is nothing we can do. So I cant get my account, and I cant get another account because of the one credit card per account rule, so I am screwed. tl;dr version: Wanted to be admin, got approved, Paypal fucks up my account, paypal custumer support fucking sucks, SG can't do anything about it, can't make another account, me pissed as hell. I might try to get Haggard to pay through other means, like google checkout or something. Link to comment
Veggie Posted January 7, 2009 Content Count: 4123 Joined: 05/20/07 Status: Offline Share Posted January 7, 2009 Here's what you can do that will work, Get a prepaid Mastercard or Visa (Netspend) from like a check cashing store or 7-11, put money on it 15 bucks and up, the fee to get the card is like 10 bucks then for each transaction it's like 1.00 or so and you'll be set. Now create a new paypal account and go from there. Link to comment

A couple of days without admin won't kill you. It has been a week since my application, (I think), this isn't a temporary thing, apparantly. I might just get a prepaid card, it'll work much better. Tried that through the support page, they wont give me the number, Paypal works for my mother's account flawlessly, it just happens to be my fucking card account that ends up getting errors. Stopped me using it for a LONG time, the hassle of getting it to work was taking far too long, to no avail. Still it works now.....Alot of things are hard to get going but after that its plain sailing. Link to comment

I haven't had much experience of problems with PayPal so I don't know much, but can you not ask them to reset your account or whatever so you can make a new one? I asked them to reset my account but that is 'against their policy,' So I guess my credit card is condemned to my locked account. Link to comment
