SpEeD Posted January 12, 2009 Content Count: 1088 Joined: 06/17/08 Status: Offline Share Posted January 12, 2009 i have never been able to get a mic to work, i have a Nvidia nforce sound card (at least thats what it says), i have tried all the jacks in the back, i have tried the mic on my brothers PC and it works fine, and i have made sure its not muted or low volume in the audio settings, does anyone know what might be wrong? Dont get the Creative Fatal1ty, I have it and hte mic stopped working. I've had my Fatal1ty for a couple months now, and I love it. You probably didn't get the latest firmware update for it. Anyway, as for Speed, if it says you have an nForce soundcard. You are probably using the onboard motherboard sound. Because thats, what Nvidia nForce is, motherboards. I'd reccemmend getting a real Soundcard. Maybe that will fix your problem. Link to comment
